someone, some place. what i know is i've never sexually assaulted anyone. >> reporter: kavanaugh says he will not bow out. >> i'm not going anywhere. >> reporter: on thursday america will hear from dr. christine blasey ford, his first accuser. in a letter to the republican chairman, chuck grassley, impfo writes, while i am frightened, please know i will testify. grassley writes back, both of you deserve a fair hearing. kavanaugh and blasey ford are the only two expected to testify on thursday, but now there's another accuser, deborah ramirez. she says kavanaugh exposed his genitals to her at a drunken party. kavanaugh denies this allegation as well. and now as ramirez's accusations are being debated across the country, a lot of people here in washington are taking notice of

police officer has filed a lawsuit alleges racism in the department. officer nabil haidar is lebanese and says he's faced retaliation since filing complaint with the city as well. in a statement, though, the city said, quote, based on the claim filed by mr. haider with the state department of employment and housing, and our subsequent investigation, we have not seen such incident. this is from a video camera in yolo county. these cameras gives fire crews crucial details about wildfires. pg&e is paying for nine new cameras in napa, marin and sonoma cameras and expected to cost up to $750,000. the goal is to have them up and running by the end of the year. 100,000 people are

let's take a look at what's going on around the state. increase ept city and eureka until 5:00 tomorrow morning. to the east of that we have until 11:00 this morning. the big swath through the central valley up into the sierra, that's until 5:00. also during the evening hours. as far as temperatures, mid-90s through the central valley. so 103 in palm springs. check out the wild spring coming through tahoe, 80 tomorrow but 60 and rain by monday. happening today, a push to extend b.a.r.t.'s bus route during retro fit construction. the chronicle reports san francisco supervisor will ask b.a.r.t. to extend it to 24th and mission streets. starting in february, b.a.r.t.

trains will begin running an hour later at 5:00 a.m. because of overnight construction. transit agency will offer bus service starting at 3:50 a.m. to help early morning commuters. many say it's not enough to help them get to work on time. it's expected to take four years to complete. a battle is brewing over a proposed ikea store in dublin. the planning commission will consider the project tonight. while some say they would welcome the popular store, opponents claim its popularity could cause big problems for their community. abc7 news reporter laura anthony has our story. >> reporter: right now it's just 27 acres of dirt and grass next to interstate 580 in dublin. if ikea has its way, it would be the budget furniture chain's first new store in the bay area in 15 years. >> we've spent quite a bit of time getting to know the

that are going down today. we got a little fog this morning. we got that fire danger. but there's some big changes coming up in the seven-day forecast. you can see how compressed the marine layer is. we got fog, hazy sunshine, summer spread today. fire danger will taper and high temperatures will start tumbling friday and pretty significantly. we have two areas of high pressure dominating our weather now. yesterday we had one. our strongest offshore event is going to be today and tomorrow with our warmest temperatures especially in our inland neighborhoods. you can see mid-90s in morgan hill, gilroy. san joe is say at 88. we pretty much have mid-80s elsewhere in the south bay. 74 to 84, just like yesterday, that's your spread on the peninsula. we'll have mid to upper 60s on te coast even without sunshine. much today. near 70 in downtown and south san francisco. sausalito, 75. we have pretty much upper 80s to low 90s in north valley.
