baja, california, the second system impacts early next week. here a live look outside where you notice that we have a few low level clouds with milder numbers. 61 in oakland. 67 in half moon bay. 58 in san jose. here is san jose with partly cloudy conditions. you'll see more sun, east bay and south bay today. 63 in concord. 57 in novato and sun on the peninsula. talking about temperaures in the 60s by noontime. partly cloudy and sprinkles into the north bay along the shoreline. it's a cooler afternoon. and we'll talk about more widespread rain coming up in the extended outlook. chris. >> time now is 8:01. now overnight a popular spot for raiders fan also will be open after a small fire broke out. alameda fire shared in video on twitter. they say the ice machine outside ricky's sports bar caught fire at 1:00 this morning. crews were able to contain the flames to the area where the fire started. there is a burn mark on the

building but no significant damage to report. the vote on supreme court nominee brett kavanaugh is now on hold. a last minute request from republican senator jeff flake spur the president to reopen the fbi investigation into kavanaugh. kavanaugh's friend mark judge is willing to cooperate with the investigation according to his lawyer. christine blasey ford named judge as a witness to her alleged sexual assault. "the new york times" reports the fbi will also investigate deborah ramirez's allegation. she accused dpan of assaulting her at yale. here is the abc chief correspondent terry moran. >> just moments after announcing support for judge zpaun jeff flake was confronted by tearful women. >> you're telling me my assault doesn't matter, what happened to me doesn't matter and that you're going to let people who do these things into power. that's what you're telling me when you vote for him. >> what you are doing is allowing someone who actually

kavanaugh's accuser christine blasey ford has said judge was an eye witness when kavanaugh assaulted her at a party in the '80s. >> both brett and mark were drunkenly laughing dur the attack. >> kavanaugh vehemently defies all allegations. >> terrie moran, abc news, supreme court. one of the women confronting senator sflak appeared on good morning america, she says that exchange was important before the senator announced the fbi investigation. >> i think that that interaction that he had with maria and i in the elevator was significant. but it was only significant because thousands of people had shared their stories and dr. ford's story. the reason why i shared my story is because she shared it. i shared it in solidarity with her. >> ana maria archila says the delay to allow for the investigation into kavanaugh is the bare minimum that can be done.

but she says she has hope and feels encouraged that the country's democracy sometimes works. this morning president trump appears to -- remain confident about his supreme court nominee. abc news white house correspondent terra has that part of the story. >> this morning investigators digging into the background of the supreme court nominee, president trump tweeting overnight, just started tonight. our seventh fbi investigation of judge brett kavanaugh. he will some day be recognized as a truly great justice of the united states supreme court. the white house calling for it to be quote limited in scope and completed in less than one week. one day after the testimony of dr. christine blasey ford and brett kavanaugh, the president striking a more deferential tone. >> i'm letting the senate handle that they'll mick decisions. >> intsz of swinging at dr. ford he acknowledged her credibility. >> i thought her testimony was very compelling. and she looks like a very fine woman to me. >> this a reversal from the

president's earlier objection to fbi involvement. >> well, it would seem the fisher really doesn't do that. >> with the investigation now in motion, how does the fbi proceed in such a short period of time? >> i believe that both dr. ford and judge kavanaugh will have to be interviewed, and in some ways interrogated about the information that they have provided, because the fbi investigators have to be able to test the credibility of the information that was provided and the ability to fill any gaps. >> an investigation dr. forde has welcomed. >> yes, i feel it would -- i could be more helpful in that dsh if that was the case in providing some of the details that maybe people are wanting to know about. >> abc news, washington. this morning we have learned the gofundme account for dr. christine blasey ford is done accepting donations. the organizer posted this mental, saying we are officially trning off this campaign. a statement of gratitude from the family will be forthcoming

all right. this is important. nearly 50 million facebook users may be at risk after the social media giant announced that it was hacked. abc 7 news reporter amanda del castillo has more on the breech and what you can do to protect yourself. >> reporter: the massive breech has made it possible for hack tors take over people's accounts through facebook's view-as option. the feature allows people to see what their profile looks like to another user. >> we dope know much beyond that. we do know the function of how the hack worked. in a very basic way. but we don't know how long the vulnerability might have existed. we don't know what it was used for by hackers. it's very messy right now. >> reporter: the social giant says it fixed the vulnerability and informed law enforcement. access tokens for unt 90 million users have been reset. many people have to log back

n tomoow aeron he on a with lis argen. good saturday morning. waking up to partly cloudy skies and looking at a little bit of sprinkle activity in the higher elevations. here is live doppler 7. you can see the generous cloud cover. and there is a system spinning offshore and yet a hurricane well to the south of us. these two interact for widespread rain tuesday. first the system continues to weaken moving north. it's at about 105 miles an hour. and it's heading towards baja. bringing anywhere from 3 to 6 inches locally process. perhaps 10 inches with flash flooding but the moisture from the two systems interact and could bring us an interesting tuesday. here a live look outside from walnut creek where we can see some op of the scattered clouds. 58 in the city. 61 in oklahoma. upper 50s mountain vow and half moon bay. the clouds around sand rafael

this morning. 58 up in santa rosa. temperatures warmer in the north bay by 10 degrees. low 60s vacaville. low six concord. and 59 novato appear livermore. look at mount tam, you can see the mist this is at 1800 feet. and that's where we have some of the moisture. but the system still is yet to move into the bay area. so light showers, veiningles are possible. mainly in the north i today. temperatures well below average for the weekend. and then widespread showers arriving late monday into tuesday. hour by hour today you notice the green mainly north. this is 4:00 in the afternoon. the clouds thin out, east by and south bay. so more sunshine and wafrmth for you. but this continues on its track to the north by tomorrow at 7:00. but we could see maybe sprinkles, mist and drizzle along the coast. but by midday sunday we have more sun and slightly milder readings. in terms of amounts, not much.

. >> announcer: good morning, south bay. let's get up and get going. >> announcer: this is abc 7 mornings. good morning and thanks for being with us. i'm chris nguyen. we start with a quick look at the weather. here our meteorologist lisa argen tracking the conditions where you live. >> live doppler 7 showing all the cloud cover and looking at mist and drizzle above about 900 feet with breezy winds process. as we put this in motion to the north you'll see a batch of moist offshore there. that's a front. and then you see a hurricane to the south. this will weaken and impact our weather both today and early next week. there is a look at the beach where it's cloudy in the mid-50s in santa cruz. 61 in oakland with audio all the cloud cover. mid-and upper 50s for most. you can see more clouds here from golden gate bridge. 59 santa rosa. 62 in vacaville. 63 in concord. partly cloudy today. and through about 10:00 we'll a all in the 60s backup 10:00.

of the first resources we see survivors wanting. they want to be able to have a safe person to share the story with. >> alex richardson is the cliesz intervention manager at the center. she has seen a steady increase in call iris following christine blasey ford's testimony before the senate judiciry committee. richardson says watching ford share her story on the world stage could have given other survivors the kurnl to come forward to get help. >> it's one of the hallmarks of trauma, is that we see when something like that happens or you hear a story that resonates with maybe something you experienced that that can bring up some of the eemss and experiences again. >> reporter: the san jose center offers a full range of services including emergency shelter and legal advocacy. on their walls are messages of support to survivors who they've helped. the best thing to do if a survivor wants to share their story is to listen. >> first and foremost we belief them, that we are here, we will support them any way we can and this is a safe place for them to share their stories and get some

and i'm sad for a lot of people that can't be there. and obviously for the 58 angels no longer with us. but it will be -- i'm looking forward to it. it's nerve-racking but i'm looking forward to it. >> she and her friends weren't badly injured in the shooting but strulgle with the memories. one man wants to make sure the victims aren't forgotten. he made a cross for each after the shooting and placed crosses at the iconic welcome sign which is close tomandla bay where the event happened. now he is bringing them back to help people cope with the anniversary. >> the year is a tough time they've gone through every birthday without their loved one. . they've gone through the holidays without them. >> he plans to hold a 58-hour vigil starting tomorrow honor the 58 lives lost. there will be a one-hour vigil for each victim. santa clara county officials want to pay you to get rid of guns. today five cities come together for the first north county gun
