tracy to dublin, 45 minutes. dublin to mission, 15. 101 to cupertino, no issues there, you're in the green at 15 minutes. there are several memorials planned today marking one year since the deadliest mass shooting in modern u.s. history. the shooter opened fire at mandalay bay. there is a sunrise remembrance ceremony this morning. they will have 58 seconds of silence to honor the 58 victims who died. a candlelight vigil was held last night as well after a memorial of crosses for each victim. stephen paddock opened fire and later shot and killed himself. friends and family who returned for the first time explained the pain and the comfort they felt being there with each other. >> it helps just confronting the fear. >> i felt that we really needed

investigation into sexual misconduct investigations into brett kavanaugh. now another yale classmate is coming forward. >> they describe him as a frequent and heavy dranker and off belligerent. >> as for the official investigation, agents interviewed deborah ramirez, the second woman that has accused the supreme court nominee of assault. kavanaugh has denied her allegation. ramirez is one of just four people who the white house and senate republicans have asked the fbi to interview. also auto that list, mark judge and p.j. smith. high school friends of kavanaugh, also leland kaiser, a friend of dr. christine blasey ford. they have previously written statements saying they have no memory of the incident. one local congresswoman is raising serious questions about the investigation and the deadline. >> abc 7 news reporter has her reaction and why senator dianne feinstein could find herself

on saturday he tphoupbgsed he is stepping down as chairman after settling a lawsuit with federal regulators. the sec said investors in august when he tweeted he had funding secured to privatize the company. a medical evacuation from a fishing boat near the golden gate bridge. this is new video of the coast guard rescuing a 46-year-old man saturday. the captain called for help saying a man on board needed some kind of medical attention. you can see the coast guard helicopter lower a rescue swimmer onto the fishing boat. that swimmer helped hoist the man up. he was taken to stanford medical center. a hiker has been found. >> diane salmon was found yesterday afternoon. two dozen search and rescue personnel spent the weekend looking for her. she apparently got separated from two family members while hiking bishop trail. it's not clear what condition she's in.

13-year-old is recovering after a shark attacked him in southern california. abc's will carr has details >> reporter: in this morning's gma first, watch beachgoers race to save a 13-year-old's life. four mendes prattly dragged him ashore inside a kayak. >> he was yelling, i got bit! help, help! >> the teen has been diving for lobsters when an 11-foot shark attacked. >> luckily, we got him out of the water. once we threw him on the kayak and started heading in, that's when i looked back and the shark was behind the kayak. he didn't want to give up yet. >> reporter: the teen airlifted to a nearby hospital with traumatic injuries. >> we imagine it could be a great white shark but we don't know for sure. there's a lot of other shark species out there that could do this, but very few >> reporter: we'll tell you what authorities are doing to keep beachgoers safe.

today marks 25 years since the kidnapping and murder of poly class. she was taken from her home in petaluma at knifepoint during a slumber party. searchers spent two months looking for any signs of her before her body was found. a jury convicted davis and is still awaiting execution. a remembrance will take place in pacific grove today. while the oakland a's are on the road, they will look to build a new ballpark.
