a handful of undecided senators. the white house is now debating the release of the findings of that fbi investigation as attorneys for kavanaugh's first accuser, christine blasey ford, attack its merit, releasing this statement saying a sum manial investigation that did not include an interview with her, neuer the witnesses who corroborate her testimony, cannot be called an investigation. we are profoundly disappointed. senators will get the chance to start reviewing that fbi report at 8:00 this morning. reggie, as you mentioned, the white house saying overnight they are fully confident that judge kavanaugh will be confirmed. back to you. >> we will see what the senators have to say about that. emily, thank you. activists opposed to the nomination held a rally at city hall last night. they say he is unfit for the high court based on the teim o christine blasey ford. there will be a similar rally tonight in palo alto.

it is planned for 7:00 p.m. at the corner of el camino real and embarcadero. on the peninsula, around 200 demonstrators are planning to protest today at google headquarters in mountain view. in august, many residents rallied at city hall against google's downtown development in san jose. they plan to march with a fair community benefits package for san jose. the march is scheduled to start at 3:00 p.m. >> in the south bay, tempers flare as were hundreds turned out to voice frustrations over an idea to turn two school campuses into affordable teacher housing.

their idea, build a brand-new high school and middle school down the road and turn the current sites into teacher house. it is an idea that generated plenty of fierce opposition from residents. >> it's not a good idea for this area. >> yeah! >> it is hurtful as a teacher because we are really nice neighbors, if you have ever met a teacher. >> the idea is one of several the district came up with an in effort to alleviate the affordability crisis facing many of its teachers. despite the high emotions, they plan to keep app likewising all their options. happening today, san francisco mayor london breed will review a plan to add 1,000 more beds in homeless shelters. breed wants to have half the new beds available by next summer and the rest by the year 2020. governor brown just signed a bill into law making it easier for local governments to move the homeless into shelters.
