a search is on in the north bay for a truck that hit a bicyclist. chp says it happened monday morning on highway 1 in sonoma county. a dark colored pickup truck pulling a white tailer hit a bicyclist. the side mirror broke off. it was last seen heading southbound near leeward spur. no word on the cyclist's condition. abc 7 news committed to building a better bay area. that means we spend more time and resources on specific issues that have a big impact on our quality of life. several issues we're covering this morning are coming from the east bay. >> berkeley city council approved the installation of security cameras at a park following a daytime shooting.

investigating this area. look at new video taken withined hour -- within the hour the tow truck s taking the vehicles out. san francisco police say a park police officer was involved in a shooting. someone was taken to the-threat injuri injuries. another person was detained. san francisco police are handling the investigation. they got the call about 9:30 last night that there had been a shooting at the end of van ness avenue. you can see aquatic park across the way. a very popular attraction here in san francisco. officers have not said who these people are who were involved, if they live here, if they were visiting. just that one was shot and one was detained. they haven't said whether this appeared to be an officer-involved shooting. they are investigating. they are asking anyone with information to come forward and give police a call. amy hollyfield, abc 7 news.

okay. thank you, aim y. you may recall two years ago in august 2016 20-year-old kelvin riley was shot in the chest and killed in aquatic park. he was walking around at night playing pokemon go. that murder is still unsolved despite a reward of more than $100,000. if you smelled smoke in the south bay overnight it was probably from this fire. it started just after 10:00 p.m. on teresi cut in liver haven area. there was an intense amount of smoke because of the amount of content in the duplex. the fire started outside but spread into the duplex and caused were significant damage. nobody here was hurt. also at the live desk, new video of a fire at a kfc in antioch this morning. smoke and flames poured out of the restaurant on mahogany way. this was a two-alarm fire. the roof was at risk of collapsing. no records of anyone
