a bay area wildlife rescuer group is caring for a record number of injured or orphaned animal this time of year. it's a big challenge but the staff and voluntaries are committed to making sure every animal gets the care needed. here is abc 7 news anchor dan ashley. >> it's meal time but that could be describing every hour here where a lot of hungry mouths are wait to be fed. this 4 week old squirrel was found in a backyard dehydrated. >> we started at like 8:00 in the morning and finishing at yourk at into. >> some squirrels are so small and their eyes closed. as they get older the tails fluff out and the appetites go into overdrive. >> they get a frenzy i want more formula. >> the rescuer center is in pet loum, equipped with an animal hospital and dotted with enclosures carefully separating one specie frist another if accepts all types of wild animal
