the bay area. hovering over areas around the bay and even the south bay. visibility has dropped in quite a few areas down to zero miles in parts of the north bay like santa rosa, petaluma, napa. dropped to three miles in oakland. six and seven miles in mountain view hayward and also san jose. but things will change. we'll see sunshine later on in the next few hours. temperatures are also in the cool side. still seeing 40s out there and low 50s. the cool spots will be santa rosa, 47, clover dale 46. ukiah 43. low 50s around the bay and hanging on to 49 in fremont. a live view here from the east bay hills. we see the low clouds sfreding pr from the coast. you see san francisco in the background. here the forecast for today. dealing with areas of dense fog this morning. but this afternoon will be mild to warm again process. and then cooling starts tomorrow. then really kicks in monday and tuesday. so temperatures will drop by as much as 10 degrees. now we have high pressure giving us the warm temperatures.

and it's also reducing air quality. an air quality with advisory is extended threw tomorrow. expect moderate air quality through the bay area today. tomorrow it improves. good air quality for the inland east by and south central bay and santa clara valley this is due to smoke from southern oregon with high pressure spreading winds from the north. here is the forecast animation. during the 9:00 hour we see fog, low clouds into parts of the bay across san francisco. but already pulling become from the peninsula by lunchtime every li everyone gets sunshine except at the beaches or the clouds linger throughout the day. and if you are heading out tonight grab a jacket things cool down and the fog and low clouds spread across the bay into parts of the east bay once again. for tomorrow morning highs today will be close to yesterday's numbers. so mid-60s to mid-80s. along the coast mid-60s half ploon bay 66. san francisco really comfortable at 71 degrees. and look for mid-seventies through oakland, san mateo, san jose warming up to 81.

well as san jose. morgan hill still in the 40s at 47. and pacifica climbing to the 50 degree mark. a live look from the east bay hills. you can see san francisco in the background. and the clouds already starting to thin out we'll get lots of sunshine this afternoon except at the beaches. so still hanging on to the 40s in some areas like santa rosa, 49. vacaville, 48. livermore dropped to 49 degrees. and this live shot of the golden gate shows you fog that we still deal with in some areas. so here a forecast for today. there are a few areas of very dense fog this morning. and it's going to be mild to warm again today with plenty of sunshine. temperatures above average for many years but the cooling starts tomorrow and kicks in. temperatures tumble monday and tuesday. just a reminer, the air quality advisory has been extended through tomorrow. today's air quality is expected to be moderate for all of the areas around the bay. tomorrow see we see some improvement in the inland east bay and south bay as well.

keep that in mind we will see hazy sunshine this afternoon. here a look at the fog animation. by 9:00 we still see the clouds in parts of the north by and around the bay. but but by lunchtime it pulse back to the coast making its way back to the bay area. 9:00 this evening and spreads a little bit farther inland overnight tonight. and so we see cool numbers again tomorrow morning. but today enjoy the sunshine and the warmth. a great day to be outdoors. if you are heading to the beach that's where you need the sweater. half moon bay 66. but san francisco pleasant. oakland at 74. san jose 81 and mid-80s through the interior valleys process. concord 84. low 80s through santa rosa appear napa with unz there as well. lows tonight will once again be on the cool side through the north bay. lots of 40s there. in fact 43 in lake port. 44 napa and santa rosa. and low 50s around the bay area. in the interior areas and in the
