you can see the massive damage. the construction site did have a security guard on duty who said he didn't see a thing. the site also had cameras but the fire still happened. it was the sixth one at a construction site in oak land. so the mayor is saying the community also needs to be on high alert. >> we call on everyone who lives around construction sites to monitor those sites, to call 911 if you see suspicious activity. >> they promise to rebuild the damaged structure. he still plans to create housing here. a team from the atf is set to arrive to help local officials investigate this fire. live in oakland, amy hollyfield, abc 7 news. thank you, amy. you are looking at what

firefighters faced as they batted a house fire sparked by the inferno from the site several blocks away. everyone inside managed to get out safely. neighbors as embers raining down on their home. >> in july of last year, a seven-story apartment building on valdez was burned down.down.. >> oakland in emeryville. both were ruled arson. >>2016 five-alam fire a block from lake mary. investigators couldn't determine that cause. >> in 2012, arson fire burned a construction site for a senior housing complex near the west oakland bart station. >> our abc 7 news app has

sanford medical center when the diver arrived for medical treatment at 12:43. he was bitten by a white shark on the right hand. you see his hand bandaged and elevated to reduce bleeding. he was able to walk on his own with someone on his side. he will well-known for doing under water documentaries on sharks. this is prime season for sharks at the fairlawns with a population estimated at 100. elliott is featured in "near miss" in which he talks about his love for diving and never being attacked by sharks is. he was bitten on the wrist and forearm. he was able to control the bleeding. he was picked up by a boat that was nearby. the transferred him to sanford medical center. it took 1:43.
