these titanic home runs. he was beloved after his baseball career ended in 1980. willie mays may be the best giant ever. willie-mc maybe the most loved. loved and admired for his demeanor off the field, he could be scaryhease. he debuted with the san francisco giants at 21. the man named stretch protected willie mays. >> you talk about a first baseman, hear all these things about this guy can stretch, this guy can hid. mac did all those things. >> that's why big mac was a first ballot hall of famer in 1956.
