let's begin with matt keller live at google headquarters. >> reporter: it's not unusual for google employees to be out here walking around. but we are minutes away from an organized walkout. they say they haven't taken enough action. google employees walked out from their offices all over the world including london and new york to proo test the tech giant's alleged mishandle ofg sexual misconduct claims. >> we are walking out in support of those who have been harassed and make sure they are protected. >> a new york times article revealed the creator of android softd severance packa package the company concluded sexual miskaukt snars have been fired without giving any of them severance packages.

organizers are calling for an end to forced arbitration. they also want them to create a bub likely clear process of reporting complaints. google ceo released a statement saying he but aware of the planned walk out today and employees will have the support their need if they wish to participate. employees raised constructive ideas for how to improve our processes going forward. we are taking in all of their feed back to turn these ideas into action. >> you c lined up and walking ie direction. no word on how many people are ex updated. matt keller, abc 7 news. >> thank you. google has a large work force in san francisco. walk out.

let's get to kate larson who is live now. >> reporter: that's right. we are on market and stewart. this is the one market building where we know one of the google offices is located. there are also two other google offices. you can see we don't see anyone walking out just yet. what we understand is that google employees at all three of these offices along here are going to walk out after 11:00. we think they are going to walk together to converge at the ferry building which is right across the street from us. we do expect to see that in just a few minutes. we are actually going to pan over and show you they are going to move across here to the ferry building. we'll be back as soon as we see anything and let them know what we are all saying. it is howtayit abc 7 news for continuing coverage for

let's take you live back to sunnyvale. the walkout has begun. google employees are expected to begin their protest over sexual harassment and demanding equal treatment for women. google headquarters are in mountain view. we found matt keller. he is joining us again with an update, matt. >> reporter: yeah. gointo show up and participate in the walkout. i would say hundreds if not thousands of employees have been walking in and streaming into the main part of campus here in mountain view. we have seen some holding signs.

one said i believe women and others said times up. a lot of people here to support this whole protest and what is taking place. it has 94,000 workers around the world. employees started walking out well before 11:00. the protest does officially going to start at 11:00 10 this morning. it is a really big protest. they are protesting that we publicly revealed in a new york times article last night. you can see it appears almost all of the campus will be here today. it is a bigger than the others we have seen around the world. you would expect a lot of people to be here. they employee so many people in mountain view. this is obviously a huge situation. we are not sure what's taking place but it appea people at
