county, south of where the camp fire is burning. le tour the zones with govern brown and govern elect gavin newsom. wayne friedman will be there with a live report. here is the latest on the camp fire, scorched 148,000 acre since it breck out more than a week ago. containment is at 5 a%. the butte county sheriff confirms 71 people died. there is a red flag washing starting tonight and goes into tomorrow. now, there is some confusion this morning over the number of people who remain missing. the butte county sheriff's office reports more than 1,000 from just over 600 ed for. thursday. the butte county sheriff cautions some may be on the list twice, because of spelling variations or because they haven't checked in with family. officials also added every name zroibd as missing in 911 calls since the fire started. we have the full list of missing

>> announcer: good morning north bay. let's get up and get going. >> this is abc 7 mornings. right now at 8:30 we are following two big stories regarding the camp fire this morning. the president is headed to northern california to see the devastation first hand. this visit as we continue to deal with the heavy smoke across the bay area. good morning and thanks for joining us. i'm chris nguyen. let's start this half hour with a look at accuweather forecasts. lisa argen is tracking the air quality where you live and you are encouraging news. seeing slight improvements today but looking at this camera from the godlien gate bridge you notice it's gray out there. hazy, smoky. the air quality in the north bay has not been great, in fact in
