in the south bay, a tradition is helping families. the annual tree lighting. the smith family said this brought a bit of light to this stark time. we'll go live downtown with the details. >> 100% of donations collected here through sunday will go to victims of the campfire, including the smith family. mike and kitty smith shared the stage with nine other family members all of whom lost everything. >> for the smith family, happy holidays is the hope. they have spent the last 20 years in paradise raising children and grandchildren. >> just three days before the fire, we were having a halloween

temperature readings right now at 59 degrees in santa vacaville. and a look at the golden gate, we'll have scattered showers and breezy conditions we have a series of rainy days to expect next week. storm impact scale at 1. it will be breezy with wind out of the southwest 15 to 25 miles an hour. starting at midnight, some light scattered showers. we'll see the sun breaking out in the north bay and east bay. some lingering showers in the south bay. by midday, we'll have bright skies. overnight lows wil be in the upper 20s. low 50s and tomorrow for high

temperatures ranging from 59 at half moon bay. some of our inner locations will top out at about 62, 63 degrees. here is the acu weather forecast. on sunday and monday, we'll see mainly sunny skies. it will get milder low to mid-60s on the bay and along the coast. cools down tuesday and wednesday as we have two light storms coming in. a heavier, stronger storm will develop on wednesday. >> that will be a wind driven rain. highs will drop to 60 degrees. it will get cooler. friday, we expect dry conditions under fall-like crisp
