stalled contract negotiations. they will march to san francisco in hopes to speak with libby in hopes to speak with libby schaaf. abc 7 news was at saint ignatius as people gathered to remember victims of gun violence yesterday. one man wears wrist bands in memories of victims, including his son chris who was shot at uc santa barbara four years ago. nancy pelosi and jackie speier were also at the vigil. speier survived getting shot in jonestown. >> stun to go me that we can take romaine lettuce off the shelves because 55 get sick.

they say they are looking into it. alexis, you'll back me up. not smart, not safe. >> do not try this at home. police are offering a $5,000 reward for information leading to the arrest of a thief. lakeport police released this video. he entered the back of the cafe 6:45 yesterday morning when staff was ready to open. the thief did not look around long before finding an employee's purse in a cabinet. investigators didn't specify what was in the purse. they do say it is a grand theft. a california couple donated all of their belongings to firefighters who lost their homes in the camp fire. can he is a combat veteran from gilroy who helped crews search through homes. he and his wife are packing up and moving out of state. but instead of bringing their leaving them behind in a 26-foot storage truck. their belongings will be handed out to firefighters who lost their homes. >> we didn't lose something to a

san jose fire department says eight all thes and eight kids were displaced. the red cross is helping them find a place to stay. they will find out the structural integrity of this building. health workers at kaiser permanente will walk off the job. >> they are prosting staffing and benefits. it involves 4,000 psychologists, therapists, social workers and psychiatric nurses statewide. this is video from a similar strike back in the year 2015. union members say patients are forced to wait four to six weeks to see a therapist. they want kaiser to hire hundreds more mental health workers. they are rescheduling some of their appointments but say offices will remain open during the strike. building affordable housing will take center stage in san francisco today. they will talk about potential changes to the current housing policies.

and heavier snow sunday. thank you, mike. investigators are trying to figure out what sparked a fire at a restaurant in san francisco's sunset district. flames broke outside inside sun maxim's just after 2:00 yesterday afternoon. the san francisco fire department tweeted these from the scene. the fire temporarily displaced three people living inside the three people living inside the apartment above the restaurant. tesla founder elon musk calls twitter a war zone. he took a swipe at the social media network after questionable tweets in a new interview. one of them was about taking tesla private. it triggered officials to take tion against musk. he agreed to resign from the board to settle the complaint. in an interview on cbs "60 minutes", he made no excuses for his online behavior. >> first of all, i am sort of impulsive.

a new study by the cdc. the public health institute is studying scooter-related injuries and incidents. it wants to look at the health risks to riders, vehicles, and pedestrians. they have been flooding the streets of major cities. they were enough to make san francisco enact a permit process, as you know. this study will be held in austin, texas. they will look at a 60-day period at austin area hospitals. it could provide a framework for new rules on scooters in the future. gas prices may be falling nationwide, but don't get too excited. the highest prices are still the highest prices are still here in the bay area.
