rrnd ideal for monday and it doesn't happen on monday, the good news is there's another system behind that could bring potentially bigger waves next week. matt keller, abc 7 news. >> going to be a big party if the event is a go. look how beautiful that is. what can we expect on monday? for that, let's check in with sandy. >> larry, the waves are going to be huge. let's take a look at live doppler 7. tracking a couple of systems here. so here is the first one. we have another system that is behind it. and that one is coming in right behind it. two storms, both will kick up the swells. here's the deal. so sunday afternoon, the swells begin to build. sunday night into monday, we start to see the west, northwest swell with breakers 30 to 40 feet. could be up to 50-foot waves. so that's why mavericks could be happening as early as monday as matt mentioned, but it may have to wait a little longer.

a computer pioneer who unshackled secretaries from their typewriters is being remembered for her work. she died on saturday. she was honored in san jose three years ago as a fellow at the computer history museum. she made reference to how much previous fellows and how much things had changed. >> they were talking about the many people they knew and all the things they had done and all the schools they had gone to about computers. and all the places that they taught about computers and so on. and i, when i looked, i thought you know, it's very different to have started before all that. >> this video is from the computer history museum. she created what many considered to be world's first word processor. her company grew into one of the company's, the top companies in the united states.
