good. northbound 17, just 24 minutes. thank you, alexis. the raiders are taking their the raiders are taking their football and going home. the raiders' last home game of the season and possibly the team's final game at the oakland coliseum may be 11 days away. >> no deal. they have pulled the offer to play in oakland off the table. now that the city of oakland is suing the team. the team's owner mark davis calls the lawsuit meritless and malicious. he doesn't know where the team will be playing next year. the nfl says it needs to know bijan or the latest february, to get the schedule set. the city's lawsuit claims that the team's move to las vegas violates league policies. mark davis told reporters he doesn't want to play oakland now emotionally because he doesn't want to end up paying for his own lawsuit.

breaking news we are covering from apple overnight. the cupertino company announced a major expansion, including a $1 billion campus in austin, texas. amanda del castillo live at the company headquarters in cupertino. amanda. >> reporter: reggie, jessica, an expansion would make apple the city's largest private employer. it would make the campus the largest outside of couper team know where of course apple's headquarters are located right now. early this morning, apple announced the austin campus will cover 133 acres and hire 5,000 employees. the company will have the capacity to add 10,000 more jobs at the site. and that isn't the only planned expansion. the tech giant says it will build new offices in seattle, san diego, and culver city and expand in pittsburgh, new york, and boulder, colorado. all of this expected within the next three years.

by apple's estimates, it will add 20,000 jobs nationwide by 2023. there are plans to invest $10 billion in u.s. data centers over the next five years, with plans to spend $4.5 billion this year and next. the company is on track to meet its u.s. jobs target after apple created 6,000 jobs in 2018. we know there are 90,000 apple employees nationwide. i'm reporting live outside of headquarters in cupertino, amanda del castillo, abc 7 news. amanda, thank you. i can't tell you how it works but i can tell you about apple stock. it hasn't changed very much since this announcement came out overnight. buff of course it is still early in the trading day. so we will see what happens. apple went public this week 38 years ago. if you bought 100 shares on opening day, the $2,200 would be close to a million today.

time later. police took a person into custody, although it's unclear what relationship that person had with the victim. the last homicide was in the year 2012. developing news on a stabbing outside powell street bart station in san francisco. bart police say the stabbing happened outside, and then the victim walked into the station. we don't know the victim's condition. sfpd is handling the investigation. we have contacted them and are waiting to hear back. new developments at the hunters point ship yard in san francisco. city health officials have tested the air, soil, and water near the police station and found no health risk for workers. that is according to the examiner. members of the police commission remain skeptical of the results. health advocates are demanding transparency on the health standards used for the tests and police officers still plan to vacate the building by the year 2020. radioactive contaminants were found at the ship yard earlier this year. the u.s. navy contractor

a security team for taylor swift used facial recognition to look for stalkers attending her concert last may in pasadena. ♪ according to "rolling stone", a kiosk was set up to show highlights of swift's rehearsals. that was kind of the bait. it secretly recorded the faces of people looking and sent them to a command post in nashville. there they tried to match the images to the singer's known stalkers. they didn't say if they identified any of them. this is the concert at levi's stadium which installed facial recognition this year. no word if it was actually used at the concert. google wants to help people get to their meetings right on line. google maps app you can find
