storms set to hit us today. >> yes. seeing showers out ahead of the stronger line that is going to move in later today. let's put up both storm impact scales. it is a light storm. it is one and rain and showers up to a half inch of rain. south bay may not receive anything in some parts of the east bay valleys. we'll talk more about that coming up in the big weather. it has potential for three times as much as this storm. you can see the initial line moving through the bay area right you can see the steadier rain up in the north bay. the heavier rain is yellow. it falls apart as it moves into the bay. we'll have waves of light rain through about 11:00. if you're heading out take an umbrella. here is more news.

we had a few of those roll through. the steadier rain is here later today with chances of rain remaining before our heavier rain comes in sunday afternoon through monday morning. if you're stepping out still pretty mild. a few low 60s into the south bay. you can see that shower rolled through and clouds are opening right now. the steady rain moves into the heart of the bay by 4:00. it will be more scattered by 8:00 and midnight. temperatures will stay in the 50s throughout the evening hours. we'll be milder tonight than we have been for most nights this week with mid-to upper 40s in the north bay. some will drop into the 40s wile
