11:36 pm
we have not a moment to waste. thank you very much. this is the time -- this is the time of year, late december, when all the end of the year lists come out. and "forbes" magazine, they're big on that sort of thing. they just released their annual list of the wealthiest celebrities of 2018. you know the richest celebrity in america? do you know, guillermo? >> guillermo: i don't know, maybe oprah? >> jimmy: very good guess. not correct, but america's wealthiest celebrity is george lucas. which what the hell did he ever do to make money? [ laughter ] george lucas is worth $5.4 billion. he made some serious jar jar-bank with those "star wars" movies. [ laughter ] steven spielberg is number two, worth only $3.7 billion, which is sad. oprah third, michael jordan fourth, and tied for fifth, kylie jenner.
11:37 pm
[ cheers ] a mixture of delight and outrage. kylie jenner has $900 million. kylie jenner is by far the most successful kardashian. she's not even a kardashian. [ laughter ] donald trump did not make the list, which is great, just what he needs, something else to be angry about. [ laughter ] i get a lot of my christmas gifts from amazon. i'm a prime member. eat that, george lucas. [ cheers and applause ] in fact, i happen to love amazon. a lot of the people complain about amazon, i love it. there's no item too large or small for me not to buy on amazon. next time i buy a house, i will have amazon deliver that house to my house. [ laughter ] that said, i have a bone to pick with them. and that is their gift wrapping. i remember the first time i clicked the gift wrap box. i assumed the item would show up wraps in paper with a nice little bow. instead i got something like this. [ laughter ] the dreaded amazon gift bag. now these bags are made of a substance previously unknown to humankind.
11:38 pm
it's like -- do you have any of those bags? like a combination of cardboard, velvet, wallpaper, and mosquito netting. [ laughter ] amazon wraps gifts just like your dad did the first christmas after the divorce. [ laughter ] and they're weird. it's just a weird thing. is this something you would put under your tree? amazon should not be wrapping presents in the same packaging el chapo used to send the heads of his enemies to the local police. [ laughter ] amazon should just -- what they ought to do, just write on all the bags "i don't care that much." you know? [ laughter and applause ] it took me three seconds to send you this gift, took them two seconds to wrap it, eat it, too bad. anyway. whoever runs the gift bag department at amazon? you're doing a terrible job, okay? [ laughter ] this is an item you can't find on amazon yet. christmas is less than a week away are. we only have to move the elf on the shelf six more times. then back to that tupperware bin in the crawl space he goes.
