place about seven hours at 4:00 a.m. a smoke alarm rang out on blossom hill road to the west. a 911 caller also reported smoke coming from an apartment on the second floor. it is also trying to get everyone out of the building. >> what's going on? the fireman goes get out. >> everyone was able to escape except for the man living in the second floor apartment. firefighters tried to save his life for 20 minutesment in the end the man dried at the scene. >> our men got in and did their best. rescue is our number one priority. it is disappointing to us and sad when things work out this way. >> 15 residents are not being

she had been missing since thanksgiving. we have exclusive video of when authorities took him into custody. >> we are in colorado. i want to show you. we are outside the property here. right up there investigators have patrick his fiance went missing on thanksgiving. inve investigators rolled up and cut the lock and went up the road just as patrick was driving down. i don't know if you can see it but there's a blue truck up there. he was coming down to hill. they got him out of the car.

they told him to stay put. they put him in handcuffs and right now they are about to take him out of here and take him to the county jail which is just up the road here. let me recap the case for you a little bit. she is a 29-year-old mother that vanished on thanksgiving day. she was last seen at a super market here in colorado about a half hour away. patrick, her fiance police say was the last person to see her on that day. there were a couple of mysterious text messages sent on november 25th in which a message from her phone to her work said she would not be coming in the following week but that was the last that anybody had any sign from her. investigators now tell us sources tell us they believe she is no longer alive and patrick is now being arrested right up
