since almost 3:00 a.m. it is eastbound 80 just before the carquinnas bridge blocking the pamona off-ramp. the off-ramp is still closed. take cummings skyway instead of pamona. >> to the coast where this fatal accident happened. it is completely shut down in the southbound direction. both directions were shut down for a time to remove the car. they still have not reopened the southbound direction. we'll come back and and check on your drive times in just a couple minutes. >> thank you, sue. developng news. a man is dead and two people, including a firefighter, injured in an overnight house fire in san francisco. fire firms called a second alarm within 10 minutes, bringing in 75 firefighters to the scene. one of those firefighters was hurt as he tried to get through the front door.

a man living in the home is dead. a woman has suffered severe burns. fire officials say they are still trying to figure out exactly how this fire began. >> also new this morning, a homicide suspect is in custody. officers were called in to the 24th and bryant street intersection in mission just after 11:00 last night. that is when the suspect refused to come out. the crisis hostage team was brought n. after several hourls of negotiation, the suspect finally came out. he was taken into custody about 3:30 this morning. the defense department has officially signed the executive order to withdraw troops from syria. james mattis signed the order sunday. the order lays out the logistics of the withdrawal which involves removing roughly 2,000 troops. president trump announced the decision on wednesday. a day later mattis announced his resignation, citing policy difference. it could begin within the next

firefighters say they got the call a little before 1:00 this morning. they did have a christmas tree. it is too early to say what caused the fire. >> we are under investigation, so i cannot give any determination whether a tree was involved or not. what we do know is we had a fully involved second floor which trapped victims on the third floor in the bedroom areas. we have two victims. one deceased, one in critical condition at the hospital. pending notification of family. that's all we can say at this time. >> the home is on clay street between cherry and main 'em. they have not released the names of the victim. they say it is an older couple. one firefighter was hurt. he had burns to the neck. he will be okay. he was treated and released from the hospital.
