christmas day. >> reporter: customs and border protection say they perform medical checks in all kids in their country nationwide. that's about 2,500 kids. the president said separately he plans to visit the u.s. pheb/me border in texas by the end of january. in washington, stephanie ramos, abc 7 news. about 100 immigrants from central america were left at the greyhound station in el paso yesterday. that's on top of 200 undocumented immigrants who were dropped off there sunday night. local humanitarian agencies rushed to find them shelter or reunite them with relatives. >> it takes a collaborative effort. the city, count, volunteer, non-profits, making sure we can manner. >> hundreds more immigrants could be released today.

a bay area holiday tradition anniversary. abc 7 news was in lo fannualhrth breakfast, followed by a prime . the house of prime rib donates 3,700 pounds of meat for the meal. >> this is a day we have roughly 500 volunteers show up. we have people lining up at 9:00 to have christmas breakfast with us at 10:00. >> this year glide staff handed out 500 prime rib dinners to neighbors on the streets. volunteers baked 2,500 loaves of the jewish bread to enjoy with the christmas meal. this is what they were serving at st. anthony's. it was baked ham and mashed potatoes, corn, and cheesecake. diners got more than a meal this year. organizers handed out 2,000ift
