>> reporter: this video was taken moments after a 250 foot tree came crashing down on a vehicle. >> you can hear the rain coming down loudly on sunday afternoon on the berkeley campus. the windy conditions were strong enough to topple a massive tree and killing the 32 years old man inside the car. >> this was not a branch. it was a tree. big. >> tree service workers continue to clean up debris. they chopped down another tree near by. >> i hope it is a freak accident and something that continues to happen. this is something that this campus should be aware of. >> in all my life, i never had anything like this happening to me. i have seen trees come down and branches fall off. >> officials say they are in the process of reviewing ongoing

now. some moisture traveling across the north bay. some of that is hitting the round. in this view from the financial district, all of downtown san francisco, we have a clear view and roi and right now we have 56 degrees in san francisco and 54 at oakland and 55 at half-moon bay. 51 degrees in santa rosa right now where we had light rain and mid-50s in napa a an an and here is your camera right here.. these are our forecast. the heaviest impact of the storm will be on the north bay. we'll get so many effects of these storms and what pattern will continue into the weekend.

on the storm impact, it will start through the bay area tomorrow and continue into wednesday morning, generally look for one to three inches of rainfall from the storm. other areas you will see up to three quarters of an inch it is not likely the other parts of the bay area will get much rain. by 5:00 in the afternoon, we'll see a wave of moderate to heavy rain and sleeping in. over night and into wednesday morning. the morning commute tomorrow maybe right up in the north bay and then evening commute is wet anywhere. the wednesday morning commute will be wet and challenging as well. the rain onto about midday and wednesday before starts to

melanie woodrow, abc 7 news. actor kevin spacey did not enter a plea to a felony charges during a brief court here in massachusetts. prosecutors charged spacey with in decent assault and groping the man in 2016. the 59 years old stood silently during today's arraignment which lasted only a few minutes in a packed courtroom. mr. spacey to be ordered to stay away and have no contact of the victim and his family. >> the judge will schedule for another hearing for march. they said he lie about his age and telling the actor he's 23. if convicted, spacey faces up to five years in prison. a -- police

47-year-old wallace. wallace opened fire on a crowd last saturday. it is unclear if he knew the victim. three men died. witness statements and videos led to this arrest. a suspect was charged of killing a man who was shot to death while camping with his two young daughters. they were set to move to the bay area last year before this tragedy happened. our marian hernandez has the latest on this case. >> reporter: a murder mystery is now solved. investigators say they have evidence that expands their case between the 42-year-old. a homeless man. a parolee. for months investigators have been baffled who fired shots from far away into a tent occupied by the 35-year-old and why. the he was killed and his two

young daughters at his side. >> they understand that daddy did not wake up and there was a lot of blood when they woke up with a lot of noise. >> seeking answer, previous campers at the park. the sheriff's department has gathered evidence. he's accuse youed three times in 2017 and twice in 2018. he faces ten charges of attempted murder. >> today he was hiding behind a wall during his court appearance. he was initially suspected for burglarizing buildings as he search for food and deputies move in as well as it was spotted with a rifle. it is illegal for him to possess a weapon. he'll be back in court on january 27th for his arraignment. his bail is set at $1.1 million.
