else, and, i don't know. at&t was all right with me. >> reporter: reports say the giants and oracle have a 20-year agreement in place. now, terms have not been released, but bloomberg estimates this deal at more than $200 million total. >> oracle, you know, we're going to call it the ballpark anyway, all of us bay area residents. it's just a ballpark. and i think that's cool. >> reporter: at&t apartments naming rights were set to end after next season. giants ceo larry bayer told the chronicle during negotiations at&t told the giants they were ghg in a different strategic direction. they said the deal with oracle came together quickly and he likes the fact this is a local company. and, of course, oracle's name is already on the oracle arena in oakland. after this season the golden state warriors are moving to the new chase center in san francisco. the chronicle reports oracle arena will also be renamed. within the last 30 minutes, at&t issued a statement saying, we've decided not to renew our naming rights sponsorship with the san

francisco giants, including at&t park. we've had a great relationship with the giants over the years and we remain committed to our employees and customers in the bay area. all of this to become official tomorrow. >> all right. larry, thanks very much. new at 11:00, an 88-year-old san francisco woman is in a coma after she was found badly beaten. the victim's granddaughter sent abc7 news this photo from the hospital. she tells us her grandmother was found unconscious at a playground near her visitacion valley home. no arrests have been made. the family believes she was beaten business someone who also burglarized her home. police say they think the suspect targeted her and knew her routine. >> only in san francisco would you find a man bringing a dead raccoon into a mksds. the video is very disturbing and it prompted the straubt and the department of public health to take quick action. abc7 news reporter cornell barnard is live in san francisco with the details. cornell. >> reporter: yeah, alma, this

mcdonald's is back open tonight after that super disturbing incident inside. we do want to warn you that some of this video is graphic. >> what i tell you? only in san francisco. >> reporter: chris brooks recorded this shocking video of a man sitting inside a san francisco mcdonald's with a dead raccoon on the table in front of him. >> wow! that's [ bleep ] a dead [ bleep ] raccoon into mcdonald's. >> reporter: brooks came to the potrero avenue mcdonald's on sunday to grab breakfast when everything went wrong. >> i'm standing at the counter and the guy comes up and he's going, help, help. >> reporter: he and other customers were stunned to see what the man calling for help was holding. >> i didn't know it was a raccoon was really dead or alive. and my thing was to get out the way. >> reporter: he ran off taking this video through the window, watching someone in the restaurant remove the bloody animal, dumping it in a trash can outside. >> y'all need to call the health department. >> reporter: the department of

twitter and instagram. >> it created chaos in a peninsula neighborhood. someone called 911 claiming he killed his wife, tided up his children and planted pipe bombs. palo alto police descended on a home with an unsuspecting resident at home. it was a hoax known as swatting. abc7 katie yudis has more. >> oh, my gosh korks there be someone hiding in this area because they're looking for someone in the area. >> reporter: a police loudspeaker interrupted this normally quiet block of emerson avenue tuesday night. an untraceable call to palo alto police prompted the large response. >> the male caller stated that he had just shot his wife in their home. he had the kids tied up. there were pipe bombs everywhere, and that if police responded, that he would harm the police. >> reporter: the caller gave a name and address. >> two people came out of the residence. they had no idea what was going on. >> reporter: officers determined the incident was a swatting

case. it's a form of harassment or prank where someone calls in a false report to get police to respond. the palo alto daily post reports one victim is a facebook cyber security executive. >> to be honest, i was a little relieved, but quite disappointed that someone would actually do that and cause the police to come out. >> our officers are being taken away from other duties and calls that are true emergencies. >> reporter: in addition to possible criminal charges, palo alto police say they would go after the caller civilly to try to recoup some of the cost of sending out so many officers. in palo alto, katie yudis, abc7 news. >> potential problems for pg&e. a federal judge in san francisco is proposing sweeping new measures to stop pg&e inflicted wildfires. >> reporter: a tough week for pg&e got tougher with a federal judge proposing extensive new steps to prevent wildfires. cal fire is still investigating the cause of the camp fire in

butte county last year in which 86 people died. but investigators recently determined that pg&e caused 18 wildfires in 2017, and the utility faces a possible criminal prosecution as a result. in today's court filings, federal judge william a lsu p proposes pg&e reinspect all of its electrical grid and remove or trim all trees that could fall onto its power lines, poles or equipment in high conditions. identify and fix all conductors that might swing together an ark due to slack under a high wind conditions. and during the upcoming fire season, must dee energize any part of its grid not rated as safe by pg&e for the wind conditions then prevailing the judge set a hearing for this later this month and to see if pg&e violated the probation in the san bruno pipe violation for not informing the judge about the case or business prospects. >> this is refreshing or good news because the judge, i feel,

a danville couple has a warning for other pet owners. be careful who you trust to take care of your dog. a security camera caught a professional dog walker hired through the app wag yelling at

and kicking their dog. here's the story now from danville. >> [ bleep ]. >> reporter: miranda fox said she was horrified to watch the man she trust today care for her dog ollie, abusing him instead. >> right behind that came this enormous amount of anger just, you know, hai could you do that. >> reporter: the man in this video is adam, a dog walker she hired through the app wag. she and her fiance only checked the security footage after he complained about their dog. the folks immediately called the company and police after their initial complaint. miranda claims it took days for wag to follow-up and eight days before they even watched the surveillance video. >> it just surprised me when it comes to something like animal cruelty, which is against the law that's correct they wouldn't respond more. >> reporter: in a statement to abc7 news, wag called the attack unacceptable. adding, quote, we have since deactivated this walker from our

platform. danville police confirmed to abc7 news that he was arrested. on his website, wag claims all dog walkers are subject to rigorous background check. miranda isn't convinced since she learned from police that other people filed complaints against him as well. >> that they had check, i'm sure they would have seen something. >> reporter: she said they're sharing their story hoping other dog owners will pay attention to who cares for their pets. in danville, abc7 news. >> two big developments tonight to tell you about involving the dmv. today governor gavin newsom announced the creation of a strike team to fix what he calls a chronically mismanaged dmv. californians now have until april 1st to get a real i.d. for domestic travel or they'll have to use a passport. the department of home lapped security was going to start enforcing the new rule january 22nd after determining california's application procedure for real i.d.s didn't meet federal standards. those issued will still be

yesterday's storm didn't bring us a whole lot. most areas were on the light side except around places like santa rosa. 8/10 of an inch, 6/10, clear lake over an inch. 6/10 in los gatos. everybody else generally under a third of an inch of rain. we are expecting much more wet weather. but tomorrow is your break. take a look at our rain chances. six out of the next seven days we have a storm impact scale. they're all 1s except next wednesday. i have now bumped it up to a 2, a moderate strength storm. so get ready for those. but for the time being, tomorrow morning here's what you're going to need to look out for. the visibility has dropped to 2 and a quarter mile in fairfield, 2 niles in half moon bay. it is foggy in those areas and fog is beginning to form elsewhere. temperatures right now in the 40s, the 50s. here's a live picture from our emeryville camera. visibility is good as we look across the bay from this vantage point. areas of dense fog for the morning commute. partly sunny and dry tomorrow. our next storm arrives on friday. high surf advisory has been
