this pretty young lady with the blue byu hoodie on. she's like, mom, that's kalen. >> who is kalen? >> kalen is gina's daughter that she placed up for adoption 17 years ago. >> wow. >> has there been any contact between the two? >> they haven't been in contact. however, gina has received pictures of kalen from her adopted parents. >> and haer other daughter spotted the daughter through the window at random? >> our minds are blown. imagine how gina and kalen felt as this moment was happening. gina was 19 years old when she made the decision to place kalen up for adoption. here we are, and everything is just a big ball of emotion. >> she's the cutest. we love her. she knows we love her. this is a very, very blessed day. >> yes, a crazy story. they met in 2017 but released the information about the chance encounter. they worked it out with kalen's dad, who was there, to approach her and not take her offguard.
