southern california firefighters had an unusual rescue today. a horse was trapped in a dumpster. officials in huntington beach believe the horse named rodeo got loose and somehow ended up on to have of the dumpster. predictably, it collapsed under the 1,200 pound horse. rescuers used a forklift to rescue him to safety. >> there must be much more to this story that we're missing. >> the horse was dumpster diving. >> in sports, boogie cousins. oh, boogie! one of the best days of his life. the warr

she wasn't walking and they went to the doctor and said she had an ear infection. they thought that was giving her balance issues. the infection cleared up and she still wasn't walking. it wasn't until they took her back to the doctor that they discovered that what was really ailing her was this leukemia. this particular type of leukemia is curable, but she's going to have to endure 2 1/2 years of treatment before she reaches full recovery. in the video that we see here, she is in the hospital. you see her arm is bandaged up. but she's happy. she's full of spirit and joy. >> that's going to be fantastic. by the time she gets to 4, half her time would have been spent in treatment. >> but that's going to make her a champ. >> she's going to be stronger because of it. she does have to have an iv port which is where she gets her

they're telling that woman up in the window to jump. and even at the urging of people below, she's still hesitant. >> well, yeah. you don't want to be injured. >> you don't want to die. >> you don't want to die. so, you know, in that moment, you just got to take your risk. >> now, other people have handed up a ladder and in the urgency of this moment, those four people that are trying to rescue her aren't sure how to unfold this ladder. so they send it back down and stretch out that blanket again. she still, though, doesn't jump. at this point the moments are ticking by and things are getting worse. and they start to hear the sirens finally of rescue crews getting closer to the scene. but they're still not there yet. people down on the ground have been able to unfold that ladder, make it long enough for it to reach up to that third floor window. >> yeah, the fire moves quickly.
