she realized, you know what? i want a horse. >> there you go. >> oh, yeah. this is a beautiful moment. they ended up getting this horse, a retire race horse. she got sunny back in september, but this video of her riding is from just last week. to tell us all about this, we have britney thomasson, "right this minute," via skype. welcome to the show, britney. >> hey. >> tell us about that moment when you saw that sunny was yours? >> i was speechless. i knew this horse was the one that we've been looking for. i just knew that was the horse that was meant to be mine. >> what kind of impact has sunny had in your life. >> physically being in the hospital so much, stuck in the hospital bed for weeks and months on end, then coming home and being stuck in bed, i lost a lot of muscle. being able to ride him, it strengthened my legs enough that i can actually walk on my own.

for so long i was used to not being able to have freedom like that. emotionally, psychologically, he has helped me get through everything. i have a bad day, i can just go out there, i hug him and cry. and he'll put his head over my shoulder like he's giving me a hug and telling me it's going to be okay. when i'm ridg him, i don't think of anything. it's like i'm in my own world. i don't have to worry about what might come next. >> congratulations on getting your horse. we're happy for you. >> i want to thank my parents and the sherry family, samantha and jerry. thank you for donating sunny to me an changing my life. a big house means a big house party. a bunch of people cutting loose in this gorgeous home.
