6:38 am
tomorrow is mild in the 40s. we still have wet weather. then by tuesday things begin to dry out. overnight lows dropping just around freezing, below zero freezing wednesday and thursday, so this means the entire bay area is going to experience much colder overnight lows, even afternoon highs struggling to make it out of the 50s and we'll be looking at numbers getting a little bit more mild towards the end of the week when another chance of rain comes our way. so, a lot to talk about. sfo, no delays but a wet tarmac there for you. and as we look at live doppler 7, you will notice that we are looking at some scattered showers, mainly in the south bay, the summit, the santa cruz mountains, but our radar beam is separated a couple thousand miles up in height, and a lot of this is low-level moisture, so falling beneath the radar beam. so, it's kind of that intermittent level you're putting your wipers on this morning if you're headed out. here's the snow in the mountains, and we're looking at still amazing amounts here. we've had had rain, we've had snow, so we've had that cement pack continuing in the mountains

6:40 am
and that means a light system with less than a half inch throughout the day. then the winds pick up. then the rain becomes more concentrated late tonight. 10:00, 11:00, you'll see some showers developing, and then it becomes more widely scattered right on through 6:00, 7:00. but look what's offshore. this is cueing up for tonight. and yes, we're looking at some pretty good downpours, 10:00 through midnight. and then into the overnight hours, your monday morning, it's going to be a soggy day on monday with more rain. and this is when the cold air begins to move on in and that next system beginning to slide in from the north. so, rainfall totals, this is today, right on through the afternoon. you'll notice not too much. but then when that wave of heavy rain hits and we add in monday's totals, we're over an inch or so from the peninsula on southwards, and we're looking at that soggy monday morning, monday afternoon. it is a one on our storm impact scale, but nonetheless, it is going to be kind of a rough go to get going. then here comes the cold air. look at that on tuesday. we're looking at that pink, and
