we reached out to other systems with similar ridership around the country. comparing to accept ta. in the philadelphia area. and boston. to find out what customers think of those services. station cleanliness. 68% of bart say stations are clean. on par with similar agencies. 66% in philadelphia. and boston 73%. but when it comes to train cleanliness, bart is not doing so well. just 62% of riders give bart a satisfactory rating. in philadelphia that is 73%. boston 84%. bart clearly has a long way to go. on time performance one area where bart shines. 92% trains arrive on time. philadelphia just 89%. and boston 85%. crime on transit agencies reported to the federal government. bart made news in the past year

for high profile crimes. many think crime is on the rise. actually it's gone down. since last year. just 3.5 crimes per million passengers. not as good as philadelphia. 2.8 per million. better than boston. 4.3 crimes per million. over all customer satisfaction. bart passengers found only 56% of riders give the system a satisfactory rating. philadelphia, 73% were satisfied. boston the vast majority 85% were happy. we compared bart to washington d.c. a similar system. with twice as many passengers and more stations. even though the metro is larger it gets a higher rating. 79% of riders are satisfied. >> even though we are wrapping up bart week. we want to hear from you.

strms. i'll have a closer look at the 7-day forecast. >> sounds good. right now in the sierra. khloe shirs on all of the major roadways. the conditions. this is interstate 80. closed from apple gate to nevada state line because of the white out conditions. cal transhopes to open it later on tonight. highway 50 just reopened at the summit. after being closed for hours. a large amount of snow km came down on the westbound lane just before 4:00 p.m. and covered several vehicles. you can forget about highway 89. it is closed at the junction with highway 88. numerous vehicles are stuck in the heavy snow and has no estimate as to when it will reopen. the napa county sheriff shared this video. of snow flakes sticking to the windshield of a patrol cruiser.

a mud slide took down a house during yesterday's storm. and some neighbors still can't go home. others are without power and gas. just how bad it looks from the air. we show you the hillside today. >> reporter: looking at did the bree it's hard to imagine anything can be recovered from the thursday morning mud slide. she remembers hearing a boom outside and a boom at her door. >> i mean pounding. bh they talk about that knock knock. evacuate. now. we jumped up and we got out. >> they briefly returned home friday to grab the essentials. their home still doesn't have power or gas. >> we don't want to sleep here without it being safe. >> the city says anyone allowed

several victims in one of california's largest contractor fraud cases was in court for emotional testimony. >> the exclusive. >> we were the only ones in the courtroom. with cameras today. as the victims gave impact statements. they spoke directly to husband and wife. who have pled guilty to more than 30 felony counts each. of grand theft and two counts each of elder fraud. >> reverend walked to the podium in court. he is one of 37 victims t have come forward with losses totalling up to $900,000. the made huge down payments for sun rooms. the prosecutors say were never completed and some cases never
