the man was arrested two hours. he once served life in prison for allegedly setting up the murder of a cuban diplomat. from florida to texas where a houston-area grandmother claims a softball coach attacked her in the stands at a game. >> she found the language and behavior of another spectator to be offensive. she began to video him with her phone, when the coach charged into her because the spectator happened to be his son. he didn't get the phone, now the person filed a claim with the sheriffs office. a cold case. . >> first investigators ran through an online jeanology website, now they tracked a suspect. it now appears a 20-year-old murder mystery has been solved. >> reporter: a napkin and a geneology site led to the arrest after a man in a cold case. >> the suspect's dna was

identified as being consistent with the dna left at the scene. >> reporter: detectives reopening the investigation into the mysterious murder of jeanie anne childs, stabbed to death in her minneapolis apartment in 1993, prosecutors say dna samples taken through the crime scene run through an online genologist site, led the authorities to a father of two, jerry westrom, they tracked him to his daughter's hockey game in wisconsin. >> they got a dna sample when he was at a hockey game, used the napkin, threw it away and got enough dna off the napkin. >> he is now charged with second degree murder. >> there is no known relationship between the individuals, that's what makes these sort of cases so hard to solve. >> reporter: genologist sites have been used in other cases. similar public genologist bases
