a very big concern right now. mike? >> let's talk about the rivers as i promised. here you go. we've got the flood warning that starts in -- it already started at 4:15 this morning. i thought we went on at 4:00 this morning. thursday, about 80,000 people with the napa river. here's the latest just updated. nearly 26 feet u it's going to crest at 8:00 a.m. at 26.6. moderate flooding like during the last atmospheric river two weeks ago. where we have the major issues, the russian river from cloverdale geyserville, towards jenner. that's until saturday at 4:15. we're at 40 feet or almost there right now. that means major flooding. we're going to peak at 46 at 10:00 tonight. so areas are flooding and it's going to rise rapidly just like it did yesterday and flood most of downtown guerneville. most everybody has evacuated or in the process of doing it because it's almost too late. we'll talk about our forecast back here with more rain coming

for the next day or so. here's alexis. >> good morning, mike. let's take a look at our traffic maps. i want to update you on the situation in novato. a full closure of highway 37. both directions closed down between 101 and atherton. it sounds like chp was called out to the scene about 12:30 overnight when the water took over the lanes. that's why we have the closure. from a couple weeks ago, you have to take atherton to 101. lakeville highway or 121 to connect with 116 or if you're trying to head southbound on 101, of course, you can take the richmond-san rafael bridge as well. a little backup through sausali sausalito. we have reports of a mudslide blocking the far right lane. chp is working on clearing that right now. they are running a traffic break. here's a look at things south of there. golden gate bridge, rain letting up a little bit but still the

in the south bay are without power right now. matt keller live in san jose for us. good morning, reggie and jessica of the we've got a light rain in san jose. the roads will be wet for the morning commute. another issue, the power is out and check it out. this is the 7-eleven. i talked to the worker inside. he said the power has been out since 10:00 last night. you can see the pg&e crews are here at west heading and winchester boulevard. they're trying to fix this. this is behind valley fair mall and the border of san jose and santa clara. they say it's an equipment issue. they're working on the power line, transformer here. the stop here is working but the -- just a reminder to treat traffic lights out as a four-way stop. it is raining harder in the santa cruz mountains. they're seeing steady to moderate rain there. also windy conditions. there's a wind advisory in effect until 6:00 a.m. this morning. chp getting cal trans to turn on the signs, warning drivers to slow down because of the

slippery roads. as for the power outage in san jose, i checked the power outage map and they expect to have the power back on in this area by 7:00 this morning. reporting live in san jose, matt keller, abc 7 news. matt, thank you. meanwhile in santa rosa, they had their wettest day on record. 6 inches fell yesterday. last night, drivers navigated through dark slick roads in the rain. >> especially with us in a drought for so long, we needed it. but it's honestly, crazy. >> in the north bay, all that rain has caused a lot of flooding in sonoma county. part of the rohnert park expressway was closed because of flooding near stony point road. in fairfax, traffic worked through a flooded intersection on sir francis drake boulevard that left this pickup truck stuck in the water. never more than seven minutes away from your accuweather forecast. here's a look at the temperatures when you step outside. when you grab the rai gear dress for temperatures in the low to mid-50s. about 52 to 55 degrees.

mudslides. 63 reports of flooding and we've had wind damage, about 15 reports of those. now we still have an issue with the flood warning. let me parcel this out for you. because there are several areas. sonoma county until 10:45. napa county until 5:30. solano county until 11:15 thursday evening. the flooding isn't over even if the heaviest of the rain is. >> a lot going on, on the roads. yesterday, south bay, you were dry all morning. today, that is not the case. we're looking much soggier. you've got the wet pavement finally. make sure you're driving for conditions. we do have flooding that could possibly slow you down on northbound 880 near a-street. chp and cal trans are trying to drain the far left rain. it caused a spinout crash earlier today. the crash is gone. they want you to know about that. drive times overall are looking okay. westbound 80 highway 4 to the maze 19 minutes.

10 across the bay bridge. san francisco to sfo, should take you ten minutes. the famous spillway at lake berryessa a week ago. as you can see, it's dry. a storm that dumped several inches of rain and then take a look at what happens. water overflowing at the reservoir and the spillway is once again active. the water goes into that hole, kind of like the drain and a kitchen sink. it travels about 200 feet to a creek. the last time the reservoir overflowed twas two years ago. the oakland a's revealed new rend derrings and plans for the stadium at howard terminal. >> among the biggest changes to the stadium is a more circular shape. the team says it captures a better way to to get a more exciting and intimate experience. it will -- it will allow for a continuous rooftop. the team is promising even more improvements as it works through the design process. >> next at 5:00 a.m., a brand
