story. >> reporter: tensions were high inside of this elementary school in oakland where several teachers were picketing. >> we had locked arms and prevented her from coming in as we were instructed and it got intense very fast. >> reporter: in this video board member is seen grabbing a teacher's neck and that teacher is darnisha wright. >> i thought that someone was grabbing me accidentally. because there was a lot of pushing and shoving. and it went on for a long time because it got tight and restrictive. >> reporter: the board member explained that she had been pushed by protesters i never

evacuated over a day long police stand off. the suspect died from an apartment self-inflicted gun shot wound. the suspect barricaded himself inside and that prompted the evacuations. >> they told us that our houses will be evacuated while they look for a suspect on a crime that they have underway. >> the suspect's name is not being released san jose police have upped their patrol a woman was found dead. >> reporter: sources tell abc7 san jose police have a person of interest in mind for the murder

of bambi larson. a close friend of larson's did not want to be seen on camera. >> it was so surreal and i can't imagine anyone wanting to harm this lady. >> san jose police is upping patrols in the thousand oaks neighborhood. neighbors and friends are scared, sad, and speechless. >> i am just trying not to cry. it is so hard to face it all. >> reporter: loved ones trying to cope since this started two days ago when they knew something was wrong. by thursday afternoon larson hadn't come to work until a coworker got worried and called the victim's son. they unlocked her door and found her body in the bedroom.

starting out in the low 50s hovering there. you notice the showers are in the forecast so take the rain gear with you out the door because we will be tracking isolated showers every now and then. numbers right now for this time of night and this time of year, they are on the mild side. 50s across the board. upper 50s in the south bay right now. concord 52 degrees. the rain has been generally light in nature but pretty persistent over the past 24 hours. those numbers have been adding up pretty well across the board. you can see the south bay. more than that in san francisco. higher than that in santa rosa. danville closing in on an inch of rain. around the tail end of the storm. had a cold front move through this morning, brought the wide

spread light showers. that's why we stay kind of unsettled even into your sunday as well. on the storm impact scale level 1 storm system. scattered showers. you my be dodging drops here and there. additional rainfall light across the board. less than .25 of an inch. we will see some isolated scattered light showers out there. similar set up into the overnight tonight we are going to hang on to that cloud cover. temperatures not falling too far from where we are right now. highs on your sunday. almost a carbon copy temperature wise tomorrow as we see tonight. may be isolated spots inland in the south bay.
