we're very interested in what happens right now at 6:30, this is the opening bell at the new york stock exchange. we're watching to see how wall street reacts following the february jobs report that is just out. the economy only added 20,000 jobs last month. 180,000 jobs were expected. we don't think this is likely going to be a great opening for the dow this morning. we're waiting to see what exactly happens. >> by the way, this is tracy war some. she's the managing director for citi group. she's ringing the bell this morning. there's a lot of high-powered women behind her in honor of international women's day. >> the european markets dropped at the open. asia markets dropped at the open optimistic that this is going to be a great day. you never know with the stock market. sometimes we think we're getting bad news that translates into really bad performance and we can be surprised. >> we have had a lot of roller

suspect brought here. take a look at his booking photo. this is mark veregge. he's 60 years old and police list him as a mendocino resident. take a look at this next picture. this is from the california symphony website. he's been a member since 1987 and served as principal percussionist since 1989. he performs with reggial orchestras. app ro san jose, marin symphony. chamber orchestra and others. investigators say he committed several acts of indecent exposure. in two incidents, he was caught walking naked to a home on meadowlands lane. both times he knocked on the door, looked through a win dpoe and fled the scene. he was wearing a dress as i approached another home. he knocked on the front door, exposed himself and fled the scene. our media partner says he was listed as being inside the jail last night on $50,000 bail. reporting live in san jose, matt

keller, abc 7 news. thank you, matt. tomorrow marks the first anniversary of a deadly attack at a napa county veterans home that left three women dead. the three were killed on march 9th, 2018. a former resident of the path bay home in yountville hoped fire that day and -- opened fire that day and killed the women. by the way,th p.home never reopened after the tragic shooting last year. b.a.r.t. service is expected to be back to normal after passengers faced major delays during the evening commute. a locked axle on a b.a.r.t. car caused a train to stop between the south hayward and fremont stations last night. all passengers were told to get off the train. this is a photo that was tweeted to us by a viewer. you can see sparks and also smoke underneath the train as crews tried to move it. as a result of all this, trains

10:00. so it's drier. it's friday. i know there's always hotspots. but overall, how is the commute today? >> overall, doing okay. not too bad of a commute. i want to take you to one new issue in the east bay. this is westbound 80 near cutting boulevard. we have a two-car collision. chp working on clearing that. that's in the two middle lanes. sounds like no injuries. you're backed up into the richmond area. let's take a quick look at drive times. it looks like it's slowing you down. westbound 80. highway 4 to the maze in the yellow at 29 minutes. not terrible. but not great. westbound 80 across the bay bridge. you're still in the yellow at 16 minutes. of course the metering lights are on. san francisco to sfo looking good all morning in the green at ten minutes. thank you, alexis. in the east bay, san ramon valley school district officials and the teachers union are returning to the bargaining table this afternoon. the two sides walked away without an agreement on wednesday despite a more than 13-hour negotiating session.

all right. let's take a look at what's going on. you can see still a few showers along the peninsula coast. those are going to head into the santa cruz mountains and possibly drop a little snow mixed in with the rain at the summit. for the kids on friday, showers in the south until 7:00, breezy with more sunshine. low to mid-50s. not very warm. here's a look around the stage. we have a winter pattern here. scattered showers in the lower elevations with snow in the higher elevationsment winter weatherng hours. then we'll have snow showers saturday, moderate snow sunday. getting home, itodaye tuda then the snow stops forte while. >> mike, thank you.

democracy. she added that they've bulldozed competition. warren ends her tweet with the #break up big tech. we didn't have that for you on the screen. we'll send it out on our twitter accounts for you. >> that is going to cause ripples. that is for sure. >> yeah. now to your morning money report. united airlines is testing a program to delay flights for passengers rushing to catch a connecting flight. >> the president of the airline says the softwareless gate agent -- if the airline knows it can make up the time in the air. the program is being tested at united's denver hub. philadelphia isn't cool with businesses trying to go cashless. it just became the first city to essentially require stores to accept cash. it's in response to companies like amazon. they want to open stores that only accept cards which we have here currently in san francisco. critics say refusing cash payments discriminates against low-income people and senior citizens. other big cities, including san
