critical condition, emergency responders were called to the he copp officers and the coast guard were all called in. to another developing story, an arrest was just made in the shooting death of a woman in the west oakland bau.a.r.t. parking lot. >> reporter: we're learning that the victim was a teenage girl, a 17-year-old. the shooter, the alleged shooter, a 16-year-old boy. the coroner has yet to identify the victim. we now know this was an incident that apparently started in the neighborhood and spilled into the b.a.r.t. parking lot with tragic consequences. a 17-year-old girl is dead, and a 16-year-old boy is under arrest. the shooting was reported just after 10:30 thursday. oakland police were first on the

scene and tried to perform cpr. in a statement, a b.a.r.t. spokesperson said the shooting did not involve any b.a.r.t. passengers and did not involve the robbery or targeting of riders. it ended in our parking lot. the statement went on to say the shooter and victim went on to -- >> helped police track down the -- with business as usual today. riders were aware of the -- >> i just feel like this a neighborhood is -- >> i wondered if peet were on edge a lot. >> i myself live, the burks a.r.t. stations, so i think it's regarded as the nature of the city.
