from southwest airlines and it seems to be good news. southwest airlines has lifted an internal ground stop implemented for about 40 minutes this morning during an outage with a vendor that services multiple carriers with data used in flight planning. southwest goes on to say you could see scattered delays. delta tells one passenger they apologize, that they're experiencing a system wide outage. they go on to say they're working diligently to get it back up and running and don't have a specific time now. >> southwest telling another passenger, apologies for the inconvenience as we fought through some technology issues. we've received word the problem has been resolved, though, so we'll have you on your way asap. >> united telling a passenger they're unable to create and release paperwork so they know that it's frustrating and will get in the air as quickly as possible. >> you may see delays but looks

james, pharrell williams. you can view a collection on our website, abc7news.com. a week after michael avenatti's shocking arrest, he is scheduled to appear in court to face fraud charges. avenatti is accused of stealing money from a client to pay off his own expenses. he's also accused of trying to extort nike for $25 million. prosecutors say he threatened to release damaging information about nike if the company refused to make multimillion dollar payments to him. avenatti says he expects to be exonerated. the spillway will be put to action tomorrow in oroville, the first time since it crumbled under heavy rain two years ago. 180,000 people were forced to evacuate when that happened. the department of water resources says the spillway is now fully functional. officials plan to test it tomorrow with the release of 20,000 cubic feet of water per

second. that amount could be tripled later this week. the state has been hinting for weeks that the spillway may be needed since a wet winter gives way to sierra snow melt. all right. let's take a look at neighborhood temperatures, some of our coolest weather right around dublin, pleasanton, livermore. blackhawk, upper 40s. everybody else in the east bay, in the low to mid-50s. take to you pittsburg, 59 degrees right now. low to mid-50s in the north bay down to the south bay. cooler than everybody else. i wanted to show you santa cruz. it is protected a lot of times from the beach hazards. we do have one out there today for sneaker waves and some long period, more energized waves. be careful if you're going to go to the coast and try to enjoy the mid-60s. exercising, just a random shower especially across the north bay. out on the bay really light breezes and a cloud cover that will make the burn time a lot longer than yesterday. you still might want to grab some sunscreen. in the north bay, in the 50s

right now with the situation there. jobina? >> reporter: good morning, jessica and reggie. so far things appear to be running smoothly at sfo as we check out the departures board up here. you can see there is one southwest cancellation at least at the moment. the majority appear to be on time. we see another delay up there as well. according to the federal aviation administration several airlines, including southwest, were dealing with computer issues. the faa recommended people contact their airline directly for updates. airports in chicago, new york, boston, atlanta, miami and detroit are already experiencing delays. a spokesperson with southwest says there was an outage with a vendor that services multiple carriers with data used in flight planning. the airline says it lifted an internal ground stop at 7:05 eastern time. it lasted for about 40 minutes. southwest anticipates scattered delays and said that travelers should check its website for the latest update and specific

for president. serena marshall, abc news, washington. there is an outpouring of condolences for a south carolina student who was murdered after getting into a car. now she thought it was her uber. >> this is horrifying. 21-year-old samantha josephson was a senior at the university of south carolina. hunters found her body in the woods 70 miles outside of columbia over the week. josephson was first reported missing friday. surveillance video showed her stepping into a chevy impala. police believe she thought it was the ride she ordered. officers arrested this man, nathaniel row land. they found blood and josephson's cell far in the car. >> the child safety locks were activated on the door, that would not allow someone to have the means of escape. >> wow. >> investigators have not

incident and will take action as appropriate including deactivating the dasher from our platform. if you ate at a buca di beppo in the bay area your credit card information may be in the hands of hackers. buca di beppo says hackers may have targeted customers in san jose, campbell and palo alto as part of a nationwide data breach. the cyber attack started last may and only ended two weeks ago. more than $2 million people had their credit card stolen and information sold online. happening now, get ready to pay more to shop online. out-of-state online retailers are required to collect california sales tax and it applies to businesses that make more than $100,000 in annual sales from californians or from companies that conduct at least 200 transactions within a year, but that could, of course, change. >> state law make remembers fast tracking a bill that would raise the sales threshold to $500,000 so small retailers wouldn't be
