facility here and relocate hundreds of students attending egan junior high school in about four years. two schools share the same campus. egan students would move to a planned building in downtown mountain view. bullis, all of its students, prop 39 requires the los altos school district to provide with facilities as a public charter school charted by the santa clara board of education. now both districts are going to be holding meetings tonight and provide public comment for anyone that would like to address this issue. for now reporting live, jobina fortson, abc 7 news. >> jobina, thank you. new developments in the college admissions scandal. stanford has kicked out a student who used fake sailing admitted through the normal admissions process, but her acceptance was partly due to sailing credentials falsified by

rick singer, the man at the center of the scandal. a $500,000 donation was made to the school's sailing program a few months after her admission. this latest development follows the firing of disgraced sailing coach who was let go after pleading guilty to holding open admission spots to students claiming to be competitive sailors. it's 4:31 on your monday morning. if you're joining us, a quick update on weather and traffic. mike? thank you very much. hi, everybody. we're looking at fog, a whole lot of fog, especially half moon bay up into the golden gate. visibility down less than a quarter, even an eighth of a mile. dangerous there. same thing in petaluma. about an eighth of a mile to a mile that will be around for the better part of the morning hours. you can see just how thick that fog is. only cuned fok a to the north fh side. we have fog and mostly cloudy conditions but very mild, mid to upper 50s. in theupper 60s and mostly cloudy at noon. at 4:00, that's when the showers

start up in the north bay and they'll spread down to the rest of us during the evening hours. i'll give you an hour-by-hour look. alexis with another check of the commute. >> i did actually just double-check and chp has not issued a dense fog advisory for golden gate or any other areas this morning. a little surprised by that. we are looking at the thick fog on golden gate bridge and a couple of our co-workers who commute that way said extremely low visibility. we may get that advisory from chp. the bay bridge, not seeing any fog this morning. just a little bit of a stackup in the cash lanes. no issues if you're using fastrak. no metering lights yet that should happen closer to 5:15-5:20. tracy to dublin improving. you're now back into the yellow. it was in the red a moment ago.

each have 20 opportunities to remove a juror without giving a reason. defendants almena and max harris are charged with 36 counts each of involuntary manslaughter for the deaths. lawyers say the men are being made scapegoats for the deadly fire even though city inspectors knew about conditions at the warehou warehouse. this morning we are learning about a crash that killed a young man and badly injured his girlfriend in sonoma county. the truck they were in went off a dirt road friday night. seth died after the vehicle rolled more than 400 feet down a ravine. his girlfriend broke her leg. she crawled up the embankment and waited for help. 's uncleart caused the crash, but it was rainy and foggy at the time. in the east bay, a sear yid of illegal sideshows sprung up. take a look at this video from twitter. large crowds gathered to watch people spin their cars.

the sideshow blocked traffic at 42nd avenue and international boulevard in oakland late yesterday. opd quickly responded trying to break up the sideshow. drivers and crowds scattered, and they moved that sideshow to other streets. police made no arrests. performing as designed, the latest word concerning repairs to the oroville dam's main spillway. officials have slowly been releasing more water in anticipation of the latest storms. the reconstructed spillway was tested for the first time last week. it suffered a massive failure during storms in 2017. the damage forced the evacuation of 180,000 people down river although catastrophic flooding was avoided. let's take a look at this. we do have showers but nothing too heavy and right now very mild. san rafael, 51. everyone else around 54 to 57 degrees up in the north bay and you're seeing a lot of mid to

upper 50s in other neighborhoods, also. so don't grab the heavy coat when you head out this morning. you may want to bring the umbrella out in the north bay this afternoon or if you're out and about later on during the evening hours. mass transit, i put ferry on there because we have a lot of fog along the coast, the golden gate and 101 in the north bay. driving, we do have a chance of being wet during the evening commute and the ferry ride will get breezy during the evening commute, also. everything is really trending to the evening except for up in the north bay where you get the first chance of some showers a little bit earlier than everybody else. 56 and fog through at least 9:00. mid-60s this afternoon. best chance of showers starting around 3:00. for the east bay we have pretty much a lot of cloudiness out there. temperatures in the upper 60s and then at 7:00, a chance of a shower. in san francisco, look at that, mainly cloudy, mid-60s today, and a chance of a shower at 7:00. there could be some random showers any other time but

storm coming at us from the northwest. notice a lot of green in here, not much yellow. not a lot of rain out of the system but it will unload north of us during the day today. temperatures up there 68 in chico. 72 in sacramento. 86 in l.a. nearly 100 in palm springs. i have to double-check that. a look at what's going on as far as the seven day forecast for tahoe. it will be windy today. a wintry mix and breezy tomorrow. more rain and snow thursday and friday and then dry for the weekend. >> mike, thank you. san francisco is installing a new red light camera system. according to "the chronicle" it will be a few months before the cameras are up and running. the first new camera at fourth and harrison streets will go into operation this month. others will follow this summer. the city has turned off old red light cameras in the meantime. transportation officials tell "the chronicle" the old cameras break down frequently and are becoming obsolete. concord wants the public to chime in on changes they would

weatherwise. dealing with quiet weather this morning. we're going to keep an eye on the fog along the coast because the winds are starting to blow from west to east, and that could push some fog across san francisco and maybe through the gap. it looks pretty clear right there. we'll keep an eye on the fog and this afternoon an eye on scattered showers that will continue, in fact, increase a little bit during the overnight hours. pretty much dry. you can see the best chance this afternoon, scattered showers in the north bay with temperatures there from 62 and lakeport, 69 in napa. the rest of us will be in and out of sunshine. low 60s into san francisco. the east bay and the south bay. tonight will be a mild one with 50s outside the north bay.
