with the columbine massacre. >> she has had an infatuation with columbine and the perpetrators of columbine. >> investigators say 18-year-old sol pais made threats towards schools which police are calling credible. 20 schools in the county including columbine were all placed on lockdown, meaning business as usual inside, but no visitors allowed in. >> she obtained a shotgun and ammunition. because of her procurement of a weapon immediately upon arriving here, we consider her to be a credible threat. >> the timing of the search comes just days before the 20th anniversary of the shooting at columbine, where two students opened fire on their classmates killing 13 people. >> i know this opens a wound especially for those families on an anniversary week

>> reporter: this morning, the focus of french authorities, securing what's left of notre dame and identifying weaknesses in the structure, that according to the french junior interior minister telling reporters they have identified some vulnerabilities. so as a precaution, nearby residents were evacuated and the work of saving and removing what was spared in the fire continues, including this statue on the cathedral's facade. ♪ last night, parisians pausing to grieve the beloved landmark. cheering for firefighters. paris' mayor calling this man the paris fire brigade chaplin a hero for running in with firefighters to attempt to recover the crown of thorns in possession for nearly 800 years. this video now providing a dramatic look of what the firefighters are up against as a time line is also emerging.

the first alarm sounded at 6:21 monday. investigators searched the building and found nothing. then came another alarm at 6:43, this time, there were flames and it was too late. that 23-minute gap, now a part of an investigation authorities say will be long and complex, this as french president emmanuel macron is promising the cathedral will be rebuilt in just five years. as for a cause, it is still early, but officials belin cinte so, investigators, now, they plan on interviewing workers from the five companies hired to do the renovation. kenneth and janai. >> elizabeth hur, thank you. president trump has vetoed the resolution on the war in yemen. the bipartisan measure would have ended the support for the war in yemen. critics say saudi forces have been targeting civilians. members of congress are also angered by the murder of saudi journalist jamal khashoggi.

momentum. his campaign was expecting about 50 people at a rally in des moines last night but 1650 showed up. it was the first showing in iowa since declaring his candidacy. police in philadelphia say six people were injured when a man intentionally drove into them on the street after getting into an argument. two victims were transported in critical condition. the driver was attacked after the crash and is now under arrest. drivers near washington, d.c. got quite a surprise overnight, what appears to be a meteor streaking across the sky there. a man captured that moment on his dashboard camera. this is in fairfax, virginia. no official word yet on any meteors in the area. but quite a sight. well, turning to the weather. severe storms are expected in texas, oklahoma and parts of the midwest today. so, let's take a look at your wednesday forecast. good morning. we're looking at severe storms wednesday afternoon going into the evening. large hail, damaging winds, flooding downpo tornadoes. highest risk, dallas in the

returning to the nationwide measles outbreak. >> he travelled from new york to michigan while contagious and why he's blamed. >> reporter: this morning, health officials in michigan say they found the man responsible for spreading the life-threatening measles virus genotythat h dernee. fthng and that the cases that we have all related to the new york outbreak. >> reporter: according to "the washington post," the unidentified patient zero was reportedly misdiagnosed by doctors twice during a road trip from new york to michigan. his cold-like symptoms initially thought to be bronchitis, and by the time it was recognized, 39 people in detroit had already caught the highly contagious disease. when health officials tracked the man down and told him what happened he was clearly upset. the head of oakland services telling "the post" he put

in the north bay the chp continues investigating a wrongway crash that left one driver dead. it happened just before 9:30 last night in novato on the transition from highway 101 to eastbound h .p motorcycle office responding to a different crash when suddenly they saw a car coming directly at them. >> despite the fact they were full lights and sirens in all lanes, the vehicle continued traveling at them causing both of them to have to actually swerve at the last minute to avoid being hit. >> the vehicle crashed into the car directly behind the officers. the woman who was driving the wrongway died at the scene. the other driver traveling in the correct direction suffered minor injuries. the highway 37 transition reopened about 12:30 this morning. major developments in the c first, aninternational architect competition to rebuild
