measles case at google's campus spans two counties. >> a community is fighting for the release of a father, detained by i.c.e. after losing his asylum case. i'm kate larson. after 45 years beach bab lon announced they are closing. live, where you live, this is "abc7 news." the nationwide measles outbreak is hitting home tonight, this time in silicon valley. >> public health officials confirmed a person with the disease visited google's campus. amanda del castillo has late details. amanda? >> reporter: health officials say they've had four confirmed cases of the measles so far this all unrelated, all separate from this latest scare t google. the investigation into the meese lts exposure now scans two

counties. >> it's not a case in santa clara county. i can confirm the case is an adult and they're a resident of the county. >> reporter: an email claimed a worker who had been to the company's 1295 charleston road building was diagnosed with measles. central location falls in santa clara county. health officials are conducting contact investigations. >> these contact investigations, we're trying to understand is there anybody who might have been exposed who is not protected? >> reporter: dr. cody say it's the county's responsibility to interview the person and .healt th public, but others say they're taking the potential threat seriously. >> i think everybody should be worried if that's something that is happening around the area and to make sure that you're obviously being very safe and careful. >> reporter: health officials

easier for our education and for us to succeed. >> reporter: the lawyer says if he gets deported before his new case, that would likely end any chance at immigration. we reached out to i.c.e. but did not hear back. in the north bay, the mother who narrowly escaped an out of control with her two kids is talking about the experience. you've seen this, a surveillance camera captured that incident. the family was stepping out of a vehicle when a driver lost control, missing them by inches. >> i thought the car was very close to me, and i'm like, it's coming, but i cannot do anything, like nothing else. i can't believe it. i can't believe that we are alive. and i'm so -- and i'm so, so lucky. >> still sinking in obviously. the driver told police her foot his the gas instead of the
