the first incident was reported september 25th. the video took place last friday. >> it's a who are rick scene, a woman can be seen walking up to the train the doors closing in while part of her hand is stuck. an employee speaks to her but the train pulls away. the woman was dragged onto the train tracks. the video obtained by the san francisco examiner. >> possibly her finger because the door closed with less than a half inch of space between the door and the door jamb when she reached her hand for the door. >> reporter: sfmta says the sliding doors in their new trainses are safe and showed us how they work. >> they're sensitive edges within the doors that can detect when a hand or object is in the door preventing it from closing. >> reporter: what happened? >> in this case it, appears the door had less than half an inch to close. >> reporter: this is not the only problem with the new fleet of trains.
