day, survived being shot. now a mom, she doesn't send her kids to school on april 20th. >> we usually make it a day to go to the zoo or we go to the beach or do something as a family, just to celebrate that we have this life. >> ryan boris was in the school cafeteria when the shooting began. he's now with the jefferson county's sheriff department. >> every day i knew i wanted to be something and someone where i could help. >> reporter: according to an abc news investigation, the columbine attack is believed to have fired more than 50 threats, plots and attacks, including virginia tech, sandy hook in connecticut, and last year's shooting in parkland, florida, that left 17 dead. just this week a florida woman that authorities say had a column buy infatuation flew to colorado and purchased a shotgun.

in developing news, a tiger mauled a zoo keeper at the topeka zoo in kansas. it 'tacked a worker in an secured indoor space. the zoo director says the worker is the primary tiger keeper. she suffered injuries to the back of her head and neck, and is in stable condition.apospsost zookeeper was alert. this happened while the zoo was opened. some people did see the incident, which is very unfortunate. >> three other zoo workers are credited with saves the worker who was attack. the tiger recently fathered
