a milwaukee resident grew up a few miles from st. anthony's shrine, one of the catholic churches devastated in the attack. >> and people actually line up outside of the church as far as as the streets can take you. >> reporter: more than 40 foreigners were killed in the deadly blasts including several americans, all guests at the hotels targeted by attacks. president trump sent his condolences to twitter writing, quote, we stand ready to help. a number of security in churches in the wake of the attacks. but the department of homeland security says it's not aware of any specific credible threats. >> and this morning, officials are looking into possible intelligence failures, ten days before the attacks. police warned that terrorists planned to, quote, bomb prominent churches. now police want to know why intel officials didn't act. janai, kenneth. >> thanks, mona. the u.s. embassy has also raised alerts for any travelers. thank you for joining us this morning. and the president's attention

dreamliner in north carolina. they're investigating whether profited affected safety, including workers pressured to hide violations. a boeing statement says the plant is producing the highest level of quality in company history. accidental suffocation is a major cause of injury deaths for infants in the u.s. a new report says the accidents often involve blankets, pillows or other soft bedding. half of those deaths occur when the baby is sleeping on his or her stomach. sharing a bed with parents also is dangerous because the adult may move against or on top of their bean. the lead researchers says the deaths are entirely preventible but the back practices continue. an eyewitness says it appears a woman intentionally drove her car into a river. other eyewitnesses had trouble getting the suv open.

they did and a dragon boat came by to rescue all of them just as that suv went underwater. overseas, at least 17 people have died in a landslide in colombia. re skew rescue crews are searching debris and mud for survivors. several injuries have also been reported. homes and roads are buried under mud. this follows several days of rains. the deadly mud slides blocked a portion of the pan american highway which connects colombia to ecuador. time now for a look at your weather this morning. a new threat is moving towards oklahoma and the texas panhandle with severe storms in some areas that could be large hail and damaging winds and even flash flooding. meanwhile, another system is making for some unsettled weather in colorado. a major hailstorm coating highways outside of denver. showers and thunderstorms expected from utah all the way to new mexico with snow possible for higher elevations.

we're back with this chaotic crash in lancaster, california. the deputy was responding to a call when a pickup truck slammed right into his car. his cruiser then colliding with two other vehicles. a total of four cars were involved in this crash. but no serious injuries were reported. texas authorities are asking for the public's help in a desperate search for a missing mom. the 26-year-old was last seen

that this surveillance video at a dallas apartment complex appearing at ease while on the phone. her jeep was later found nearby. reyes was reported missing on wednesday after failing to pick up her son from a babysitter. >> she's talking on a phone. she doesn't appear to be under duress. we have concerns for the fact any mother is not likely to leave their child. they're going to pick their child up. >> family members say her disappearance is out of character and she would never willingly leave her 6-year-old. this single mom works as a paralegal and recently became a u.s. citizen. police in indiana are holding the press conference about the unsolved murders of two teenage girls who disappeared. about the 14 years olds were found near a hiking trail. investigators found a photo on libby's phone who may be the killer and later came up with a sketch. police will only say they want to share information in the investigation which is moving in
