they had a lot of turnovers as a reason to not be happy. the way they play, i think you have to love that. >> 13 turn overs in the half which is terrible. they cut it down and finish with 20 for the game. that's not great, but marked improvement. >> a lot of that became a victim of the defense that the warriors kind of goes to get it. he knows about kevin durant. guys that work out in the off season. tucker has the girth and the title affect kd and no one will affect his length. tucker does it as well as anybody. it bothered him as they got into a flow and you heard him talk about it. if the rockets are going to swyw, no reason why

they should be guarding. late in the game, they went to the dot talking about my girth. >> only pg. don't worry about that. >> i hadn't thought about it. sensitive about the whole thing. >> we will get to that after steve kerr with mindy. >> i asked this question on the court. there are game ones and game ones against the team like the rockets. when you prepared for the game, what were the main points you wanted to do? >> well, we didn't want to foul. that was an a plus. they wanted to take care of the ball. 13 in the 50 half and 20 for the game. that's what we want to clean up.
3:34 pm
a great way to start the series for the win. i'm amazed at how competitive and tough our guys are. they keep coming. >> what was the decision to start? >> the best lineup. when you play against houston, they force you to guard the perimeter. one of the best perimeter defenders in the league. we did it last year the same way. deal with it this way again this year. >> how do you attack a player. going 9-28 and still get his 35 points. he ends up at the free-throw line. >> he's impossible to stop. they want to make everything difficult for him. we did that. no matter what you do, he will get 30 or 35 points. he's so difficult to corral and he draws so many fouls. even on poor shooting nights like tonight, he will rack up a big line. >> they saw green's energy and kevon was quiet and erupted in the third quarter for 15. just a difference maker for

interesting exchange between the gm at the rockets whose whole goal is to beat the warriors and the owner of the mavericks. >> this makes officiating harder. everything is put on social media for the arm chair gms. even ones who have comments, it will be very interesting and we will tell you much about the management. oblt owners and the officiating groups are at odds and the gm of the rocks make the comment and have been, working on these things since 2006. if you watch the replays, you will see him throughout this time before game two. there is a lot of times where no w an official mind like the circle underneath the rim.

they put a line down. you can't put the lines down and have to be looked in. you are missing at what's happening and you have to bounce one with the other. >> what's a catch some. >> i don't know. that's a foul. maybe andrew bogut knows. >> thank you so much. you play this team in the playoffs and you were not here in the regular season. what was the feel that reminds you of the playoffs? >> it's going to be a tough series. they are better than when i was here the first time. it was back for us. we still turn the ball over. and we feel like we can be a lot better. >> 16 points off 13 turn overs.
3:39 pm
and this team, they do a really good job of punishing you for turn overs and they shoot the three. if we turn it over and struggle to win games. what a life turn over. >> it's interesting and when you see them, he was called for a foul. a little confusing to the fans. the players are sure what's being called the way they call it. >> it's tough. we have to adjust. we tried to adjust and there have been questionable calls. obviously the player is hard at times. if you have your hands in there at all, we have the other end. he has hands all over him. we try to adjust that. just defensively we can't afford

warriors offense which was struggling early on. >> kevon was big earlier. the first 10 minutes, we saw the turnovers. they were not going in for the rockets and free-throws were matching the turn overs, 1-1 in terms of the rockets and the warriors. that was a good time to get them into offense and not give into the defense with the helping that the rockets were doing against the warriors. what happened after that was a vintage play. we have seen the warriors run out of bounds and also out of the half court. this is what they call the cyclone player. he is going to enter into kevon loony. he will get it entered to a catch down tolt base line and set the back screen to get shawn to the rim. they get that lay up to the rim and what ended up happening is loony made a read after he screens down on steph and gets was lf open for a able to take advantage of.

not really a screen. draws a switch and here's what's really important about this. you can remind them of that. look at the guy on the bench right here. sitting with his legs cross and arms back. this is what i like to see earlier in game two. what that does and this was referenced earlier. someone not really in tune to be in the clutch moments. he should be down in this corner and spaced or running through like klay thompson to give this stod operate o. he gets stuck and steph tries to turn and this is why steph is so good. he starts moving. maybe the first 10 minutes for steve kerr were to test out and see how clay and steph were able to move side to side. by this time, h move.
3:43 pm
what does steph do. he takes it to the other side. he draws two and dunk and great pass. this is where his presence will make a difference. they will be worried about steph. they went to the play a lot and the end of the series, we saw it again here now. the two highest leading to a dunk. any time that steph is in the game and has the ball, he's got the ball and look how high the screens are being set. he will draw this out of 45 feet. something good is going to come out of that. he will draw attention almost every time. nothing happened after the screen and now we want to get going here. let steph attack. this happened at the end of the game. this is a great time. here's clay in the corner. you can't help off the clay. he has to stay attached and you have kato this side. there is no help off the rim. a great time to get into the lane. he attacks capella to the tune
