illegal side shows. this video is from the chp and shows a truck doing burnouts at the summit of mt. diablo over the weekend. an officer stopped the driver before anyone got hurt. law enforcement agencies have been watching for sideshows especially in oakland. their response follows an incident on april 14th when a delivery truck and an ac transit bus were set on fire in east oakland. so far oakland police have not reported any major side shows this past weekend. alexis, thank you. a special concert at grace cathedral in san francisco to show solidarity with the people of paris after the devastating fire at the notre dame cathedral. investigators believe that the fire was possibly caused by a short circuit linked to renovation work t. could take nearly five years to rebuild the cathedral. tonight's free concert starts at 6:00 p.m. and will include performances by the san francisco symphony, the grace cathedral choir and the san francisco opera. the bay area town that tops the list of the most expensive place to live in the entire u.s.

forecast today with meteorologist mike nicco. how is it going, mike? >> it's going good, guys. hopefully you're having a good monday, also. that water will be cold, too, melting and coming down the mountains. still able to ski. i'll show that you forecast in a half hour. there's arrival delays at sfo. a little cool near the coast. clouds return tonight and so does that chill of 40s and 50s overnight. and just a kiddie coaster of high temperatures this week. no wild swings like last week. a look at your cloud cover. about 44 minutes from now, pretty much everybody is covered or almost covered. and then you see by noon it's back to the coast and a little bit that will cross the golden gate and head over to emeryville, albany and berkeley as we head into the evening hours. 62 at san francisco. mid to upper 60s around most of the bay like oakland at 67. you can see low to mid-70s from

westbound 80, highway 4 to the maze. about 20 and southbound 10 is san francisco to sfo in the green at ten minutes. new overnight an investigation into a fire at an uber office. >> this happened in daly city on john daly boulevard. reporter anser hassan with the latest on this. anser? >> reporter: good morning, guys. i spoke to daly city police. they won't have an update until about 7:00 a.m. the fire was put out quickly and minimal damage to the building. it was limited to burn marks near the front door and damage to the window. the call came in around 11:00 p.m. late last night. the fire was quickly put out but investigators remained on scene until about midnight. no major damage to the building or surrounding businesses. one witness says he saw someone light the fire and then took off running.

>> i saw someone put something down and ran away. a few second later the flames went up in the air and got bigger and bigger. i called 911. by the time they got here it died out on its own. >> reporter: police wouldn't confirm any reports whether they have a suspect in custody but did say no one was injured. anser hassan, abc 7 news. by the end of today the jury will be selected for the ghost ship warehouse fire trial. court officials say the pool of qualified jurors will be narrowed down to 12 with six alternates. opening statements are expected tomorrow. defendants derick almena and max harris are charged with 36 counts of involuntary manslaughter. lawyers claim the men are being made scapegoats for the deadly fire though they say city inspectors knew about conditions at the warehouse. >> as you know here at the live desk i've been tracking updates from the deadly weekend synagogue shooting near san diego.

i want to show you brand-new video just coming in to our newsroom and this is new footage of a little girl who survived the attack. her leg was hit by shrapnel. this is at a vigil. you can see her smiling which is certainly nice to see. the 8-year-old receiving a butterfly pin for her sweater. it's nice to see that new footage this morning. 19-year-old john earnest is accused of killing one woman, injuring three others including the rabbi in saturday's shooting. earnest ran from the scene while being shot at by an off-duty border patrol agent. he was arrested about a mile away and the rabbi described the moment the suspected shooter opened fire. take a listen. >> this man standing with a rifle standing point blank at me and he starts shooting right towards me. >> earnest has been charged with murder. we've learned the suspect is linked to a recent mosque arson fire and also this morning

investigators right now poring over the suspect's social media account looking closely at an open letter that was posted online saying he wanted to kill jews. >> so disturbing. thank you, jessica. a douglas county, nevada, sheriff's sergeant wounded during a shoot-out with a triple murder suspect from the bay area is at home recovering now. a procession of law enforcement vehicles escorted the deputy from the hospital to his house yesterday. he was shot in the hand during a gun battle with stephon jefferson. jefferson is suspected of killing three people in berkeley, oakland and san francisco. he was caught near south lake tahoe after leading police on a chase. we're hearing from the neighbors of a woman hit and killed while walking her dogs in san anselmo over the weekend. we're choosing not to identify her as police are reaching out to her family. the woman was walking her two dogs on butterfield road. the driver of the car is 30-year-old james boswell.

he was arrested for felony dui. >> i just want people to slow down and be mindful when they drive. >> i can't begin to tell you how angry i am at this man, how irresponsible, despicable and rotten i think his behavior is. >> the suspect was booked at the marin county jail. his bail is set at half a million dollars. emergency housing is arriving in butte county for victims of the campfire. fema is setting up hundreds of manufactured homes in several locations. the november fire was the deadliest and the most destructive on record in california history. some survivors are still living in hotels and motels. money is set to end on may 10th and fire victims will have to move. the san francisco fire department is training at china beach to keep swimmers safe. the agency tweeted this video saying it was a beautiful day on the water. they say crews are constantly training to keep everyone safe. just a reminder even when the
