right now who has six days to be the most restrictive abortion bill in the country. we have learned the aclu of alabama is planning to sue and at the live desk looking into what this means for roe v. wade. it makes it a felony for doctors to perform abortions with up to 99 years in prison, and the measure only exempts women at serious health risk and in cases of rape or incest women would have to carry their pregnancies to term. the author hopes to appeal the conservative -- appeal to, i should say, the conservative majority supreme court and challenge roe v. wade. >> trying to keep it just as it was was to address the issue that roe v. wade was decided upon. >> i apologize to the women of alabama for this arcane law. >> look dreed as hand maids from "the handmaids tale" protested

"the examiner" reports mayor london breed has not decided if she supports the ban. in the east bay richmond police are investigating another fatal shooting. the shot spotter system detected gunfire at chancellor avenue and 16th street about 5:00 yesterday. officers found a man suffering from at least one bullet wound. a police spokesperson said they had no suspect or any idea what happened before the shooting. it has been a violent week in richmond. on sunday gunfire wounded four people in a span of just 90 minutes. new hope this morning if you want to buy a home.

the california association of realtors says almost a third can afford a median priced home in the state. the association puts the price at $545,000. this is the first time housing affordability has been above 30% in more than a year. and the survey finds affording a home in the bay area depends on where you want to buy. it is the lowest in san francisco at 17%, and it is 46% in solano county which makes that the most affordable place to buy here. 4:35, and this morning dub nation feeling confident after the warriors trounced the trail blazers in game one. >> steph curry dominated scoring 36 points and draining nine three-pointers. the dubs beat portland 116-94, taking a 1-0 lead in the best-of-seven series. as abc 7 news report er it could be a first. >> reporter: a huge round of applause wearing an oakland a's jersey.

we head through the morning commute and the evening commute will be the most t of us. central part of the bay starts to get some wet weather. you can see just offshore even some yellow starting to develop. it looks like we're going to get a tougher commute as we head throughout the day. right now looking from south beach on the bay bridge, all is quiet. the roads, mass transit, the ferry ride all going to be wet or getting wet, all going to be gusty, also. watch out if you're driving. we'll have a south wind coming at us up to 20 to 30 miles an hour. break it down in the north bay. we're in the 50s through 1:00. a few low 60s this afternoon, back into the 50s by 7:00. a chance of rain increasing from 7:00 to 9:00. how about the east bay. we've got a chance of some rain this morning and then some showers develop from 11:00 to 3:00. the heavier showers from 5:00 to 7:00. temperatures in the low to mid-60s here. and for san francisco light to

moderate rain from 7:00 to 9:00, back to light rain at 11:00. heading out for lunch and then the rain gets heavier during the evening commute starting around 4:00 in san francisco. so if they're heading out right now, i haven't seen any rain on our tower cams. i know you're looking, also. what else are you seeing? no wet pavement, no wipers. all that have is good news if you're doing the early morning drive here. 101 and 880 in san jose slowly filling in on the eastbound side. so far that is looking good. i want to take you to the santa cruz mountains as well. we have a little stretch of red past the summit. we have reports of a two-car crash. sounds like one of those vehicles is still partially blocking the slow lane and there's debris scattered across both lanes. i'm just seeing that backup fill in. emergency crews are heading to the scene.

jose. los angeles recently unveiled a street in honor of the former president after a two-year process. the san jose group started about the same time but it says it's being slowed down by city hall. renaming a street in the city requires the signatures of more than 50% of residents plus utility bills to prove who they are. organizers also need the name and address of any affected property owner. >> anywhere you live in this country especially here in a diverse city like san jose, we want to send a symbol to our chirp that anyone can become president. >> the process was much easier 30 years ago. >> an update on san francisco's subway project. the opening is expected to be delayed and we're now getting a price tag for major cost overruns. reporting lyanne melendez has the story. >> reporter: people in chinatown referred to the central subway

as the never-ending project. it was supposed to be completed by december 2019 but the oversight committee reports it's projected to be finished by february 2020. the san francisco municipal transportation agency still stands by its december 2019 deadline. by the way, that's one year after the very first original completion date. tutor perini corporation said the sfmta has known since at least 2016 that the project was not going to be open to the public on time because of the delays that sfmta not tutor perini has caused. keep in mind the project began in february 2010. it's supposed to take passengers from the fourth street caltrain station to right here, the heart of chinatown, but this 1.7-mile extension has seen delays.

let' go through and here you are at 7:00 in the morning, you can see yellows and oranges starting to develop. the later you wait to get out on the roads the more likely they're going to get wet this moves into the north bay by 9:00 and then we'll have some light showers up until and through noon into the early afternoon hours and then you can see by 4:00 if you're trying to head out that's when the widespread moderate to heavier showers are rolling through right in the heart of the evening commute. 7:00 as we head deeper to the evening hours it starts to pull away. our fastest winds will blow in during -- starting around lunch. is you can see that heavier rain into the evening hours is when we get up to the 30 to 40-mile-per-hour gust range. we have a two for today. only a one for thursday. barely a chance of rain friday. then it comes back saturday, sunday, monday, tuesday.

the chase center in san francisco is hiring. the warriors' new home will need about 2,500 workers when it opens later this year. there will be three job fairs next month. it's for curran employees at oracle arena. everyone else can go on june 22nd or june 24th. the locations are still being determined. single day tickets for san francisco's outside lands music fest go on sale tomorrow. >> organizers released the daily lineup. the festival is august 9 through the 11th. friday will feature 21 pilots, childish gambino. paul simon closes out the festival on sunday along with kacey musgraves. we have the full lineup onor everyone at this concert series.
