before he was killed saturday morning in a wrong way collision on highway 17. four of his friends survived but suffered major injuries. he was a junior in fremont and had dreams of goinging a firefighter. >> i am completely broken. he was my everything. taken away from me, from everybody. it is just not me. >> they say ashley marie oliver was responsible for the head-on crash and was returning after a night of drinking. investigators are still trying to figure out how long she was driving the wrong way. >> i'm never going to get that chance to hug him, kiss him, say i love him, nothing. >> today oliver was wheeled into the courtroom where she made her first appearance before the judge. the 28-year-old showing little emotion as a public defender spoke on her behalf. the santa clara district attorney's office vowing to fight for justice.
