last week you may have been exposed to measles. ansar hassan has more. >> reporter: this couple learned of the berkeley bowl after checking credit card receipts. >> she was here and she came to the store to see what time she was here. >> they shopped that morning, but the infected person shopped late in the afternoon. the family may not have beeneenn exposed, but they were concerned. >> the person had measles and was walking around. >> dr. lessa hernandez is a berkeley public health officer. a doctor notified that the patient was infected with measles. only berkeley bowl was at risk for exposure. >> there were other exposures, but we don't need to notify the public because we've identified everyone that is at risk. >> reporter: dr.

headlines and now 20 years later is sparking more debate. abc 7 news reporter liz kroit has more about the man. >> reporter: worshippers still remember john walker lindh. >> when he used to come here he was always calm, and he was a seeker of knowledge, and a person -- we did not see violence. >> reporter: he was 16 then. a recent convert to islam and in days, the man who became known as the american taliban will be released. >> i was a student in pakistan studying. >> reporter: that's lindh in his own words shortly after his 2001 capture in afghanistan. he said he traveled to the middle east on a pilgrimage, but that's not what a grand jury found. in 2002 lindh was convicted on terrorism charges. his early release now stoking debate. the parents of slain cia officer mike spann calling it disturbing news saying the man they blame for their son's death is still a

threat. alabama senator richard shelby tweeted that president trump told them over the phone he, too, believes he should serve the full sentence. for lindh's family, a relief. his father says he was simply a scapegoat for a grieving ne9/11 country. >> it is not fair to say john went to afghanistan in order to work against or wage war again of his own country. lindh will be released from a prison in indiana and will be under three-ier supervision and we do not know if he will be returning to the bay area. abc 7 news. a san francisco soccer club is honoring a tragic crash. last night the team presented him with a courage if the face of adversity award. he was one of four siblings involved in a collision in late february. they were on their way to the hospital to visit their dying father when they collided with

paying rough with penny. >> was that appropriate? >> no, it's not. she'd been acting like a jerk. i was frustrated not at her, at myself and other things and i had gotten in a fight with my mom, and i agree it was not appropriate. >> after rosy brown complained to wag and i contacted the company they suspended casey brengle and sent a statement that reads in part, it is unacceptable and contrary to our community guidelines and we expect everyone on the wag platform to conduct themselves professionally. >> these are my dogs so i know how difficult it could be to find a pet sitter. as for wag i contacted the better business bureau and the company has had a rocky few months dealing with consumer complaints. the bbb has complaints about walkers not showing up and keys, money or items stolen and last month the bureau gave wag an f for the way it addressed

rainy afternoon, but that's what's going to happen. from our exploratorium48 in vac livermore. when the rain comes down it will come down hard and we will have the frontal passage today and a little bit more sun tomorrow from the roof camera, you can see that it looks a little cloudy out there. rainy and windy today. scattered showers and the possibility of a thunderstorm and more rain into early next week although it's a much weaker system. by 9:00, 10:00 the rain pushes into the north bay. noon in the south bay and we're looking at this by about the middle of the afternoon where the cold front is still offshore and the heavier indication of the rain will be in the yellows and the darker greens and that's the frontal passage and after that we will still see the rain until about 10:00 and that's where we get a lull throughout the evening and overnight hours band of rain heads our way and we have some sun and the

weather wise more rain is on the way. let's get a check of the forecast with meteorologist lisa argen. >> hi, chris. the storm impact scale is back. it's a 1 for today and tomorrow. we'll see anywhere from a half inch to an inch of rain, gusty winds and looking at the possibility of some thunderstorms as well so as we look at live doppler 7 you'll see the rain is still far to the north and it will be about three hours or so before you see the rain pushing to the north bay and there's mist and drizzle on the coast and that spin in the atmosphere and that looks like a wintertime system and that, too, will move overhead by tomorrow. here's a look at the current numbers and it looks nice in san francisco. 46 in mountain view and it's cooler and with that cool air mass yesterday settling into place. we are definitely starting out with temperatures up more in the 40s than we would be in the 50s and the flag is flat there and those wins out of the southwest gusting over 30 miles an hour possible in the high elevations and vacaville and concord and 46

kids have gone there and that's not something you want to hear. >> fremont police arrested richard charles rocca from antioch. he faces charges of possession of child pornography and concealing a camera in public. a hidden camera was found in the men's public restroom inside the trampoline park. police allege the camera also captured the suspect setting it up. >> families who frequent rock and jump want to know that the company is at least asking the right questions. >> did he walk in with kids? did he walk in by himself? that would have been a red flag if he didn't walk in with kids or anything else. >> they did not want to issue a statement or be on camera for an interview. there is a company-wide policy to do routine bathroom checks. >> i'm glad she's a girl so she can go with me. so i can hopefully protect her a little bit. >> this was not the first incident for rock and jump at this fremont location. just a few months ago, police

were called to the trampoline park for a man exposing himself and employees chased down the suspect who tried to run away. jose ortiz felix was charged with lewd conduct. >> it's hard enough not letting them go got park and bring them to a facility like this where they think they're safe. >> police believe rocca put cameras in other places. they are now asking for the public's help and reaching out to victims. abc 7 news. four students who wrote a racist slur have been disciplined. the slur was one of four graffiti incidents at a california high school this week and the other a random shooting monday night. they don't have evidence, the students attempted to carry out the threat or that a crime was committed. they remain under investigation. unfortunately, we've had four incidents involving graffiti. >> they said 80% of the school or kids were off.
