nobody was hurt and police made no arrests. a san mateo man is in trouble for impersonating a police officer. he was seen showing people a gun at hillsdale shopping center sunday afternoon. he apparently told people he was an under cover police officer. they released the suspect shown waving a gun right before another employee gets there, not long after they got a call of another similar incident and made the arrest. >> we truly believe in the partnership with our community. without the cooperation and the help from the community, we'd be lost smr police say the gun that he had was actual lay bee-bee gun and records show that he was charged with imperson nation back in 2010. >> now an abc 7 news live desk update. >> happening today, there will be hundreds of rallies nationwide to stop abortion bans

and they venezuela a website for this organization. it's called stop abortion bans.org, where they're planning these rallies. more than 50 organizations are a part of this, including aclu and planned parenthood. they have organized a day of action across the country. there is a map on this website. you can find the rallies happening. here in the bay area, san francisco, san jose, many more. they all begin at noon. demonstrators are protesting against measures restricting abortions passed in alabama and missouri and today a mississippi law which bans abortions as early as six squeeks heading to federal court. meanwhile, abortion ban supporters want to challenge the landmark ruling roe v. wade, back to you. >> the parents of this west point cadet have the right to use their latest's sperm. >> reporter: 21-year-old west point cadet peter xu of cop cord

was killed in a skiing accident. his fellow cadets held a memorial for him on the slopes. now a new york judge granted the parents the use their late son's sperm. they said when peter was alive, he often told us how he wanted children of his own one day and that he wanted to give us grandchildren. they say without obtaining genetic material from peter's body, it will be impossible to carry unour family's lineage and our family name will decide. the judge ruled photoing ethical considerations. >> as a military mommy sympathies to the family that lost their son, it's a tragedy. >> jennifer law is the founder of the center of bioethics and culture, focused on the ethics of technology and assisted reproduction. she takes issue with the family's request. >> in one way you can say it's experimentation.

the 19th season of "the bachelor" is due in court in iowa in connection to a deadly crash. he was originally charged with a felony for leaving the scene that left one pan dead. he pleaded guilty in november to a reduced charge of leaving the scene of a serious accident. today he is expected to be sentenced, because he pled guilty to that lesser charge last year, he faces up to two years in prison instead of five. a judge must decide if three wills inside the home of arest that franklin are valid. if 76-year-old died from cancer in august last year. her loved ones originally said she died without a will. now her attorney says one was written inside a spiral notebook in 2013. >> that will was found beneath a cushion in franklin's living room. two older wills were found inside a locked cabinet.
