on may 10, police raided his home seizing thousands of dollars of equipment. >> press groups across the country protested the raid. earlier this week a judge ordered him to return the equipment. >> now tonight, the police chief is issuing an apology in an interview. >> exactly two weeks after officers gave the search warn, seizing 68 items including cameras, cell phones and notes, the police chief bill scott has made a decision about that raid. >> your statement said you looked at this for the past 48 hours. what concerns did you come away with? >> we made some mistakes. we had some concerns. with language and particularly one of the warrants. >> chief scott said it did not identify him as a journalist but as freelance videographer.

she didn't been seen since may 8. volunteers began fearing the worst but family members say she was spotted by a hop on the outskirts of the forest where she had evidently gotten lost, hurt and stuck. she was air lifted and taken to the hospital. and is apparently doing well. it's been 25 years since an east bay teenager was murdered in her own home. but this horrific crime remains unvolved. friends and family hope new advances in dna thnog naak ar to justice. they lit cancels and walked together through the streets of castro valley to remember jen lin murdered 25 years ago. friends and family honored her at a memorial service. she was only 14 when she was murdered by a strange here broke into her castro valley home in 1994. >> the pain felt like yesterday.
