already 70 at 9:00. 80 at noon and we'll hang out in the low to mid-80s dropping down to 73 by 7:00. how about our east bay valleys. we just jump big time from 69 to 76 to 84 from 7:00 to 11:00. mid-90s this afternoon and still a warm 85 at 7:00. we'll get close in the upper 80s to near 90 in the south bay. most of us outside of driving on some hot asphalt not going to make it. temperatures 10 to 15 degrees cooler starting tomorrow and into friday. first, i want to bring alexis in and talk more about the morning commute. we're nice and quiet. no major issues to talk about. that's good news. zooming into the central valley our super commuters you are heavy, 205 to 580. 14 miles an hour respectively. you know the drill, that is just a typical day for that commute there, unfortunately. and a quick check of the richmond side of the bridge, you can still see some cones up on

water temperature 53, though. millbrae to redwood city. 80 to 87 there. mid to upper 60s along the coast with increasing breezes this afternoon. lau to upper 80s. mid to upper 80s through most of the north bay and then santa rosa, calistoga northward. along the east bay shore everybody makes it to 80 today. and then mid to upper 90s in our east bay valleys. here is the turning point, noon today, everything is clear along the coast. and there you go during the afternoon and evening hours, that's the return of the see braez. temperatures tonight still in the mid-50s to mid-60s. 80s and 90s are back saturday.

crews could use a huge crane and pick it up. the san francisco public utilities commission is exploring the idea of requiring some of pg&e's assets. they are looking into what it would take to do so. pg&e filed for chapter 11 bankruptcy protection in january. it faces $30 billion. it could make san francisco more able to generate its own power. >> if you're looking for a deal on flights, now may be the time to book. southwest airlines is holding its semiannual three day sale where you can get roundtrip tickets starting at $100. they launched this 72-hour sale yesterday morning so that means you only have until tomorrow to book a ticket. we should have told you yesterday. our bad. one-way fares start at $49. of course there are restrictions
