day. the hottest temperatures of the year on the way if my accuweather forecast forelookin where we do have some fog, some lower visibility through s ars. so far we don't have any dense fog advisories and an earlier crash around the fremont exit that has cleared and we don't have any significant residual delays. we do still have a problem here, if you're leaving the dublin area southbound 680 at bernal avenue. we have a semi that had a fuel leak. the fuel leak is cleared but the right lane and off ramp still blocked waiting for a heavy duty tow truck, probably about an hour, already at about a 10 or 15 minute delay approaching the scene. that is our biggest issue so far this morning. alexa, thank you. developing news now in santa rosa where three people were shot in a busy park. we're hearing one of the victims is only 10 years old. amy hollyfield is live in santa rosa this morning. amy? >> reporter: good morning.

hundreds of people were in this park. soccer games were going on when the shooting happened. three people were taken to the hospital, a 20-year-old man is suffering from life threatening injuries. it happened around 7:30 last night at jacobs park. this is near link lane and west 9th street in santa rosa right next to lincoln elementary school. police say hundreds of peoe weathered here when it happened. and the victims are ages 10, 20, and 40. witnesses told police there was a gang related confrontation just before the shooting and then a man got out of a car and fired several shots. a soccer coordinator told us a coach was one of the victims. the coach described to him what happened. >> the car came around, the guy gets out of the car and just starts shooting. and he was the one who got shot. he was walking to his truck and the kids were walking by as well. >> reporter: the 10-year-old boy

and the 40-year-old man do not have life threatening injuries, but that 20-year-old man does. police say the suspect then drove away. officers are looking for the public's help. they're asking for anyone with any tips to give them a call. there's even a reward that is up to $2,500 being offered for any information leading to an arrest. reporting live in santa rosa, amy hollyfield, abc 7 news. 5:03. while you were sleeping, president trump joined french president emmanuel macron to salute the sacrifices made on d-day 75 years ago. that landing on the shores of normandy mark the beginning of the allied crusade to free millions of europeans from nazi occupation. and d-day veterans who are now mostly in their 90s join the president to salute their fellow warriors who gave their lives while landing on the shores of omaha beach. president trump spoke a few feet from where many of those were killed on d-day and where they're now buried.

because this is a global crisis we're under. >> reporter: he does not know who turned the conveyor line back on. after he escaped the lock he was taken by ambulance to a hospital and says his injuries will heal. he's still deciding whether to file a police report. the sonoma county sherpive's office told me they looked into the incident. reichardt said it was an accident and the employee was unaware the protesters were chained to it outside. abc 7's i-team looked into animal abuse allegations in 2014 after an activist got a job there and shot undercover video. on monday sheriff's deputies arrested 80 protesters, most of whom were booked into jail on misdemeanor trespassing and felony conspiracy and released after court. i spoke to the district attorney's office who says they're still deciding whether or not to file charges against the activists. i'm kate larsen, abc 7 news. it is 5:06. is a san mateo county supervisor is opposing plans to open a new

for. >> union leaders and district officials plan to resume talks today. they met for ten hours yesterday. the latest offer is a 6% raise over two years with strike pay. district leaders say that costs too much. the new haven school district serves students in union city and the south bay. wells fargo says it will donate a billion dollars to address america's housing affordability crisis. the company says it will develop new ideas and implement solutions for homelessness, affordable rentals, transitional housing and home ownership. it will also allocate funding for education, disaster relief and the arts at the local level. in the east bay a memorial service will be held this afternoon for former congressman ellen tauscher. the service starts at 2:00 p.m. in downtown walnut creek. it is open to the public. she served this congress from 1997 to 2009. the cause of her death was not immediately released when her family announced she died in april. she had written on facebook a few weeks earlier she was recovering from pneumonia.

leading to an arrest. 5:33 and building a better bay area in the south bay. residents of a south san jose neighborhood met with railroad officials to come up with a solution to the loud freight rains rolling through overnight. anser hassan joins us live with the details. good morning, anser. >> reporter: good morning, natasha. just to give you some perspective you can see the train tracks run right through the middle of this residential neighborhood about a mile away from san jose state university. san jose mayor sam liccardo says the trains are so loud this has become a public health issue. they are considering legal action. last night several hundred neighbors came out to a community meeting to voice their frustration about the noise. this problem began back in february when union pacific rerouted its freight trains through the area. they said they did it to increase efficiency and to meet government regulations. the trains now run through the middle of the night between 10:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m. residents say the trains are so loud and disruptive, they can't

according to "the examiner" it erupted into flames in december. skip has pulled its electric scooters o san francisco's streets while they're investigating. new numbers show that vaccination rates in marin county are at their highest level ever, more than 94% of kindergartners are now vaccinated. for decades marin county has been known for low childhood vaccination rates, raising concerns about the risk of disease outbreak. now public health officials say child immunization rates nearly match the statewide average of 94.8%. they believe the increase is the result of education, policy, and change in social norms around immunization. dub nation is hoping injured all-stars kevin durant and klay thompson are going to be well and back for game four tomorrow night. the warriors dropped game three to the raptors at oracle arena last night. >> steph curry led the dubs with 47 points. it was incredible keeping the team within striking distance for most of the game, but he

today. up to 30 degrees warmer by sunday and monday. alexis, good morning, and tell you all about the commute. we'll take to you a couple of our slow spots here so far today. the bay bridge toll plaza, metering lights on at 5:18. reports of a two-car collision between a sedan and a semi just past the toll booth reportedly in lane five. one of the, i believe the last cash lane there on the left-hand side. so definitely be on the lookout for that. that could impact the commute if that is there for long. we are seeing an impact due to our sig alert at bernal avenue. the right lane and off ramp are blocked due to a disabled semi. 7 miles an hour that entire stretch. that's at least a 20, maybe 25-minute delay. southbound 6830 highway 4 to walnut creek looking good at six minutes. walnut creek to highway 13. actually i'm surprised about this but looking pretty good westbound 580 tracy into dublin. 44 minutes.

football field at 8:00 p.m. emeryville police are hoping you will recognize a man suspected of shooting at another man outside a restaurant. detectives shared this image inside the denny's near interstate 80. they believe this is the same man who shot at a man in the denny's parking lot just before 4:00 on saturday morning. the victim was not hurt. he told police he had gotten into an argument with the gunman before shots were fired. the woman sexually assaulted by brock turner is writing a memoir. in 2016 many people were outraged when turn earp was sev turner was sentenced to six months in jail. the victim's impact statement was posted on line. viking books says the memoir is due out in september. the publisher doesn't say if the author will use her real name n. court proceedings she was known as emily doe. morgan hill police are warning neighbors to be alert for a mountain lion. this comes after a person found

a deer carcass. officials with fish and game say bite marks and injuries were most likely caused by a mountain lion. a job fair will take place today for people who currently work at warriors games in oakland to fill job openings at chase center in san francisco next season. the warriors plan on hiring about 2,500 people for various full-time and part-time jobs at their new home. today's event is open only to people who work now at oracle arena. it runs from 4:00 until 9:00 p.m. at oracle. the warriors will host a job fair for the general public later this month. in the south bay a program in downtown san jose is putting art by local high school students. >> downtown doors. this year more than 200 students across santa clara county competed to have their artwork digitized and then put on spaces across downtown san jose.

valleys. look at the temperatures tonight. mid-40s to low 50s, even cooler than this morning. my accuweather seven-day forecast. the deeper start tomorrow. temperatures will end up the same as today. look at the quick bump saturday. 80s and 90s around the bay and the warmth hits the coast with some 70s to near 80 sunday and monday. the rest of us are pushing 90 to 100 degrees. alexis? good morning, mike. really one main trouble spot still this morning. so not great news if you're trying to travel southbound on 680 from 580 in the pleasanton area. everybody else is looking okay. this is still a sig alert. we are at exactly an hour from when the tow truck said they would be there in an hour. hopefully they are getting to the scene and getting this disabled big rig hooked up and hopefully can get the right lane and off ramp back open. that's what is causing this delay. it was a fuel spill. the fuel has been cleaned up. they need to tow the semi out of the area. a solid three-mile backup if you are coming out of dublin.

even san francisco will be nine degrees cooler from 71 yesterday to 62 today and then we're double digits with our east bay seeing the biggest drop from the mid-90s to the mid-70s. starting saturday look what returns, the 90s in the north bay and east bay. 70s and 80s around the bay. but then look at this. 90s in the north bay, east bay, south bay, even near 90 around hayward and nearing 80 in san francisco. get out to those parks early and stake your claim. the hottest day will be monday with the triple digits really hitting hard in the east bay. taking a look at the roads and some good news here. the bay bridge toll plaza. an earlier crash cleared between the toll booth and the metering lights. nothing blocking the metering lights on at 5:18 this morning. however, cannot say the same, the right lane, 680 at bernal avenue.
