sig alert at bernal avenue. another 20 minutes before the tow can alive. 34-minute drive for you and still no delays. northbound 85 through the south bay. alexis, thank you. police are looking for the person responsible for a shooting at a crowded park. >> three people were hurt including a 10-year-old boy. this happened at jacobs park last night. amy hollyfield is there live in santa rosa. amy? >> reporter: hi, natasha. there were several soccer games going on at the time. hundreds of people when she is shots were fired at about 7:30 last night here in jacobs park right next to lincoln elementary. witnesses say a gang-related altercation happened. a man got out of a car and started shooting. three people were shot. a 10-year-old boy and two men ages 20 and 40. >> shot him in the leg. shot the kid in the stomach.

and then he shot the othe adult. >> reporter: the 20-year-old has life threatening injuries. police say the shooter then got in the car, which drove away. no arrests have been made. they are looking for any tips to help them find out who did this. they're asking for any witnesses to call them. they are offering a reward of up to $2,500 for any tips that lead to an arrest. reporting live in santa rosa, amy hollyfield, abc 7 news. today marks the 75th anniversary of d-day, the beginning of the allied liberation of mainland europe from the nazis. president trump joined french president emmanuel macron in paying tribute to the sacrifices made during world war ii and president trump greeted d-day veterans, most in their 90s now. he thanked them for their sacrifices and their fellow troops. the president made his remarks near the sands of omaha beach,

four aggravated criminal assault charges and each carries a max of 30 years in prison. kelly pleaded not guilty in february to ten related counts of sexual abuse involving three girls and a woman dating back to the 1990s. so the judge today could revoke his bond, but a lot of legal experts think that's not likely. >> thank you. 6:14 now. an animal rights activist is demanding answers this morning. >> he claims he was nearly decapitated during a protest in sonoma county earlier this week. direct action showed video with abc 7 news. protesters chained themselves to a duck slaughtering machine in petaluma. they began to scream for help after the processing line started to move. panic set in when tom chiang's head and neck were pulled into a pole. >> i didn't know what was going on or how my body was. allnew was i was feeling my life leave my body.

afternoon hours and the north, the coast. the northern gradient kicks in and takes away a lot of the cloud cover there. a blustery day with temperatures, this is as warm as it gets at the coast, 71. everyone else is in the 50s. santa cruz sheltered, warmer. low to mid-70s. upper 70s. 73 today in mountain view -- i should say in sunnyvale. and then as you head up the peninsula to the mid and upper 60s. breezy conditions, mid to upper 50s along the coast. low to mid-60s downtown. low to mid-70s most of the north bay. santa rosa and a lot of upper 60s. fremont and hercules could make it to around 70 and 71. look at this. a lot of air conditioners running yesterday. not today in the east bay. mid-70s to the low 80s. now check out these temperatures tonight, even colder than this morning, mid to upper 40s. you leave the window open, have an extra blanket on the bed, also.

my accuweather seven-day forecast, temperatures in the 80s and 90s away from the coast. look at the 70s at the coast sunday and monday. 90s to 100s elsewhere. taking a look at the commute this morning, really not too bad here at the bay bridge toll plaza. we don't have any major issues. one crash that lasted about ten minutes and that is long gone at this point. car-pool lanes moving through d and fastrak users. to the tri-valley, pleasanton no change. our sig alert remains southbound 680 at bernal. that's still about a 15-minute delay from 580 and a quick check of drive times, too. santa rosa to petaluma, 14 minutes. castro valley to the maze another 14. better than that northbound 101 between 280/680 split and highway 85 looking good, just 13 minutes for you. police confirming they are investigating a deadly shooting. this happened overnight at mcginness avenue and sussex drive. anser hassan joins us live with new information. anser? >> reporter: yeah, good morning, guys. as you reported we just confirmed with san jose police they are investigating a fatal shooting here on the 1200 block of mcginness avenue in san jose. an officer patrolling the area reported hearing gunshots fired just after midnight. a witness says they heard up to five gunshots and then heard a car hit the sidewalk and crash into a tree. one of the witnesses says the driver was an adult who died on the scene. police have been out here for the past six hours still gathering evidence. i spoke to an officer on scene. he says this happened near ryan elementary school. the roads may be closed, but he says school will still be open. now we were told no arrests have been made and still no suspects. they're asking anyone with any

680 and that is still causing about a 20-minute delay. as you can see you're a solid line of red and past that southbound 680 before sunol boulevard new reports of a crash. so far we're not seeing any backup to that. boy, maybe a good morning to take 880 south. neither of those is a great alternate. 680 is definitely looking jammed up at this point. westbound 580 tracy into dublin hasn't been too terrible. we've been in the yellow all morning. antioch to concord in the yellow as well at 25. probably going to see fog along this r

i want to start with this live picture from west point. not sure what the news helicopter here is looking for. you can see a wooded area. but earlier this morning at west point a five-ton cargo truck overturned killing one person, injured several others in this area. 20 cadets and three active duty were inside when it overturned. i'm monitoring things as they have that investigation under way right now. major delays reported at l.a.x. take a look at the tweet that the airport sent out just a short time ago. there was a power outage last night. this morning it's forcing passengers inside terminal one to be rescreened by tsa. a heads-up there could be major delays. back to you.

there's a $2,500 reward on the line to find the person responsible for a shooting. >> one of the victims was a 10-year-old boy. this happened at jacobs park last night. amy hollyfield is there live. >> reporter: hi. the park was full of people. soccer games were going on. a 20-year-old has life threatening injuries. this happened last night in jacobs park near link lane in santa rosa right next to lincoln elementary school. they say the three people shot are ages 10, 20, and 40. witnesses say there was a gang-related sho ed confrontati. a man got out and shot. a soccer coordinator told us a coach was one of the victims.

the coach described to him what happened next. >> a guy got out and started shooting. the kids were walking by. >> reporter: the 10-year-old boy just finished playing a game when he was shot. he and the 40-year-old man's injuries are not life threatening. it looks like they're going to be okay. police say the suspects drove away and are looking for the public's help. a reward of $2,500 for information leading to an arrest. amy hollyfield, abc 7 news. making headlines this morning, house speaker nancy pelosi reportedly wants to see president trump in prison. politico reporting pelosi said in the meeting i don't want to see him impeached. i want to see him in prison.

alexis? well, i have a little update but it's not great news 680 at bernal avenue. we've had a sig alert all morning. a disabled semi. somehow the fuel tank was hit. they cleaned that up and that semi has been sitting in the right lane and blocking the off ramp for the entire morning commute. they're trying to totally empty that before they get the rest of the way hooked up to the tow truck. it's not going well. they're asking for some assistance from the fire department. now south of there some better news. southbound 680 before sunol boulevard, a two-car crash reported that has cleared. it was very minor. a quick check of the toll plaza, metering lights on and we have our typical delays. now to a discouraging health

alert on sleep, a new study says bad sleep or a lack of sleep could lead to health problems including obesity, diabetes and heart disease. researchers tracked more than 2,000 people over six years to obtain these results. dr. jennifer ashton is talking about the study on "gma." >> we've known if you don't get enough sleep that's bad for your health. what's new is using sleep trackers that they wear on their risks tracked the variability, what times they went to bed, what times they woke up. they found that varied more than one hour over a week. it increased the risk, obesity, high cholesterol, hypertension, all those things stack the deck. >> there were audible groans in the studio. it appears in the journal of "diabetes care." you can watch the full report coming up on "good morning america" right after "abc 7
