bring bart to san jose. bart will spend the next six months testing trains along the corridor with service expected to begin in december. it's been a monumental effort to get to this point. >> we built roadways, we did lots of environmental mitigation. so it's a large effort that's more than a station and some tracks. >> phase two about bring bart to downtown san jose. bart is something else we have focused on as far as building a better bay area. one of the issues is fair cheats, which costs millions of dollars every year. a recent month-long crackdown in san francisco produced some pretty impressive results. ticket sales went up and sigh cases went down.
